Was a very nice show, full of colors and movements. I recommed absolutely.
I just suggest arrive in advance to Stephens Auditorium, or some people will use your seat and you will have to request ... it was uncomfortable.

The performers are spectacular. The music , colors, and dances of Mexico make you feel truly happy and have a good time with family and friends. My only critique is that dances from other states such as: Michoacan, Chiapas, Northern Mexico, were also included in the program. Regardless, I would highly recommend it and will definitely see the show again.

So I've been going to see Amelia Hernandez for awhile now (every time they come around town)
I absolutely loved everything about it
I even took my boyfriend to it which at first wasn't very excited but he loved their performance
We look forward to seeing them again

On the side note though there was a lot of distractions going on with the flash photography I think they should check bags for no flash photography

The entire family went to the Sunday performance and I have to say we all enjoyed it so much! The dancers were amazing and the music really takes you back to your family gatherings in Mexico. It was so nice to listen to the music we grew up on. Yet it was taken to a new level. The kids watched in amazement and the adults sang along when they could. Just a beautiful afternoon all the way around.

This show was a beautiful sampling of regional flavors from clothing, to dance, to music. I went with my husband, 7 yr old, and 4 yr old and everyone enjoyed the performance. I wish that there was more live music with a larger group of musicians because when they had a stage full of musicians it was magical. Overall, fabulous!

Great choreography! Told a storyline through dancing and proper costumes....really appreciated audience interaction.....recommend it to everyone.

Beautifully presented production which was a lot better than the last time I saw them. I liked the Mariachi band and that Mexican snacks were sold in the lobby.

As an avocational dancer of the ballet, I enjoyed those set pieces which incorporated ballet choregraphy. The pieces re the native indigeneous people's (Mayan) and Forest people -- first set after intermission were my favorites. The more popular "city, hacienda, and village" sets with Mariachi were enjoyable too, with beautiful costumes. The mariachi musicians added a great deal -- a favorite with the audience.

I went with my hubby and two children ages 12 and 7 and we absolutely love love loved it. From start to end the energy that these dancers bring is so admirable. Perfect way to reconnect with my roots good job. Anxiously waiting next years performance.
