Having seen EBadu at the Paramount several months earlier, I almost decided not to catch her show at the Warfield. Wow, I am glad that I changed my mind. The Warfield is a perfect setting for her show and it was great to stand with fans right up next to the stage where we could see as well as hear her. She has such a commanding stage presence and I've never seen her put on a better show. There was a great mix a music from all of her albums, including 2 from Worldwide Underground, an album I've never heard her perform live. Her voice was beautiful as always and she has so much showmanship, it's hard to take your eyes off of her throughout the show. I was amazed at how long she played---1:00 am before we were heading out the door. No wonder she is one of my all time favorites. Don't miss the chance to see her when she comes to town!

What an excellent combination Erykah B. rockin the mic and Rickey S. laughing it up. Erykah sounds good as ever and sang some new songs and some old one including the apple tree which she put a hell of a spin on. She had some equipment on stage that she was using to control the music that looked pretty cool. I half expected her to come out in aftrican garb but she had on some sequence MC hammer pants and a top hat with a crazy coat I had to laugh when I saw her. Someone gave her flowers and a gift after ward. Rickey Smiley was funny I was in tears during his whole performance. First he came on stage blasting lil wayne's Mrs. officer riding a moped with a midget cop in tow with a tight miniskirt on LOL and it just got funnier.

Ricky was extremely funny. Much more entertaining in person.

Erika, what can you say about Erika? She's Erika! She was more then I expected and tremendously entertaining. More talent then any one person should have. I'll be waiting for her return to Atlanta. 'She got skills?" An understatement!

Erykah was so much better than I could have imagined! She was energetic, funny, beautiful and her vocals were ON POINT! She made me laugh, dance and just feel very warm and relaxed. She was MAGNIFICANT! I would actually FLY to see Mrs. E and I have NEVER been on a plane and TERRIFIED of heights and flying!!!! Thats how deep it is!!!

Erykah gives you your money's worth. awesome performance. I will go see her again when she is back in town. Only regret, she didnt sing Tyrone ( i guess all things must come to an end) :)

This was my first time at the Atlanta Civic Center and I was not impressed with the building at all. Very plain and the drink prices were outrageous. The opening act for Ms. Badu was comedian Ricky Smiley, and he may have been funny but I wouldn't know due to how poor the acoustics were ( I sat in the balcony- center 4th row) There was a good crowd and the workers were all helpful and nice and when Erykah did come on she did a good show.
I have seen her before at the Fox Theater in Detroit and that show was absolutely fantastic. Talib Kweli and High Tek opened for her along with Musiq Soulchild. Her set was longer and my tickets were cheaper (for the civic center I paid 81.00 for balcony seating and at the Fox it was 60.00 for 4th row center)

The music and laughter were a blessing to my soul. Wonderful show with Special K, Rickey Smiley and Erykah Badu. The comedians were truly funny and entertaining and Erykah closed out the night with an absolutely fabulous performance. There was a rather bizarre dance group that performed just before Erykah and I have to give credit to the Atlanta crowd for not being rude during or after the very forgettable dance performance. The civic center was a great venue. I would definitely go to another Erykah Badu event.

This concert was awesome. It started on time....and it was worth the money. Erykay Badu felt the vibe of the crowd and gave us what we needed. This is a must see. I will definitely pay money to see this again.

The concert was amazing!!! After Erykah let security have it after stopping people from dancing it was on!!!!
She gave a great show, left and came back and gave us 3more songs!!! I luv her!!!!

I was very disappointed in Erykah's performance. It was extremely slow - she was not into the performance nor was the audience. She only pumped up the show when she saw an usher asking a gentleman not to stand up and dance. The performance was a little bit over an hour before she left the stage saying the show was over and when she did return a lot of the crowd had already left. Leaving the show everyone was very quiet, no conversation about how awesome the performance was. I felt like I wasted both time and money. I have been to her concert before at the Fox and she was awesome....not this time.

Erykah Badu's performance was nice, she is a very versatile artist.
Rickey Smiley was very funny and he kept our stomach's in pain from laughing so hard. I could have watch him for another hour. Did not care for the intermission act Ra B!

Erykah Badu remains an excellent singer, I thoroughly enjoyed her newer music and her classics. Rickey Smiley and Special K were hilarious! Iwas pleased and impressed with the fact that the concert started on time and didnt end too late, and with the fact that it did not take an hour just to get out of the Civic Center parking lot. Overall I had a very good time!

Rickey Smiley was funny but I have seen a lot of the material before and I was expecting something a little different. Erykah Badu was great. She really connected with the fans and the encore was amazing.

Special K opened and was quite funny. Rickey Smiley stayed on longer than Erykah and was very entertaining. Erykah finally began to sing after the event had been going on for about 2 hours. Sadly, Erykah should have been the highlight of the evening, and would have been, had she only performed long enough to make it worthwhile. Erykah was only on stage for about 75 minutes. To have waited 2 hours for her to get on stage this was very disappointing. I will say that the short time Erykah did perform was phenomenal. Erykah can certainly sing. However, to have paid $100 per ticket and driven to Atlanta from Nashville for the event turned out to be a great let down.

The performance was better than expected since Ms Badu was able to show her voice range talent was not studio enhanced. The combination of venue,comedy and concert, was worth the ticket.

Ms. Badu was stunning, as usual! Rickey smiled "acted a fool" as we expected! We had a marvelous time! The band that opened for Badu was a little off the wall, but very interesting to watch. Our only complaint was that the show ended - We could have listened to "Fat Belly Bella" for another 2 hours and would have enjoyed every moment of it! We'll be back next time she comes to the ATL!

This was my second concert in Atlanta and I was not disappoint. Rickey Smiley was on point and Erykah was lookin good, but the drink prices were crazy two shot of Crown and a bag of ships cost me 21.50 com' on man.
