For those who think LeAnn Rimes is still the little country singer with the big voice, think again. LeAnn Rimes brought to Humphrey's by the Bay Concert a "Rockin" style of music that had the very vocal crowd screaming with delight the entire night. LeAnn gave those who attended a preview of her next album singing 4 new songs. LeAnn also seemed to be having such a fun time on stage. While doing her intro to one of her new songs "God Takes Care" she could not help but laugh about the message to the song which is about ex-boyfriends/husbands. Surprisingly LeAnn, maybe for the first time ever did only a partial version of her first big hit "Blue". Many of her fans might have been disappointed in this decision. But LeAnn gave her loyal fans all the "oldies" including a new version and style of her classic hit "Commitment". LeAnn also got standing ovations for her two ballads she sang "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way" and "What I Cannot Change". LeAnn looked FANTASTIC in an outfit of black shorts with a thick black belt along with what looked like "short top" boots which were also black. She then wore a simple white T-shirt with "thin-lined" drawings of what looked like clowns on it. LeAnn worked the crowd and danced and moved about the stage giving the concertgoers something to remember. LeAnn finished the night with an encore of a classic Johnny Cash song "Folsom Prison Blues". LeAnn gave this song an upbeat, rock and roll style which had the crowd on its feet clapping and screaming for more. To say the least, this is not LeAnn Rimes the young country singer anymore. This is an artist who is finding her way into new and better.

My husband purchased Kenny Chesney tickets for my birthday in 2008. We saw him in Chula Vista. LeAnn Rimes was also to perform. I was so very excited. But then it was announced on entry that she was ill & would not be performing. I was very sad not to see her. I've listened to her since the 1st time I heard her 1st hit, I think it was in1996, I was at work. What an amazing voice! So when she came back to California after missing the Chula Vista show in 2008 I knew I had to try to see her perform. Coming to the LA County Fair in Pomona was almost in our back yard & was close enough to drive & so I could afford it. I am so glad we attended. She was amazing! Just from looking at her and the way she spoke on stage about herself, others, her career, & her family, she seems to be a wonderful person. keep singing LeAnn. You give such an inspiration to others through your words, songs, & voice. Everyone can some how place themselves into at least one of your songs, I know I have. and it's helped me tremendously.

LeAnn was great as always but the venue was by far the worst I've been to. In addition, we were required to pay addiitonal money for the fair entrance fee which was $17 per person. The seats were awful, the sound was terrible and the show was a little shorter than I would have expected.

We came a long way from Europe to see LeAnn live on stage and it was worth it!
She is such a great singer and such a nice person!
The concert was perfect - with older and new songs and with pop and country music.
We wait for her new album and we hope, she will come to Europe for some concerts
one day...

If you haven't been to a concert at Humphrey's, you should put it on your list of places to see a concert! As for LeAnn, she is one of our favorite singers, and she put on a GREAT show! Her voice was incredible, and her performance was great. We were thrilled to see her, and thrilled to see her at Humphrey's in San Diego! LeAnn is a must-see if you are a fan.

I saw LeAnn at the L.A.County Fair in Pomona, CA, 4th row center. She has such energy. I enjoyed the differet kinds of music, especially the bluesy song, I will buy her new CD, hopefully that song will be on it.

I would love to see her again....

LeAnn's concert was disappointing. We came to hear her classics and country hits. Her music was mostly very loud, fast, and difficult to understand. Also, the opening act, Chris Ayer, was on stage for an entire hour. Then, it was another 15 minutes before LeAnn Rimes arrived on stage. She didn't interact, well, with the audience, either.
Soooo, overall, a very disappointing concert. Would not recommend her concerts to any of our friends, based on our September 18th experience!

We flew down from Sacramento to San Diego to attend the LeAnn Rimes concert. Although she put on a good show and her voice was outstanding, we were very disappointed in the length of the show. She started a 8:15 and ended a little over an hour later. We go to a lot of concerts and LeAnn Rimes now holds the dubious honor or having the shortest amount of time on stage.

Band too loud and featured too much. I paid for a Leann Rimes concert and got a band performance. thought it VERY weak overall. She pushed her new album excessively and should have sung some of her old favorites. Not much of a concert!!!

The show started 20 minutes late...that should have told us something. We were so disappointed. LeAnn is not a country singer anymore, but trying to be a rock star with a rock band. Too much steel guitar and drums, yikes! The staging was not good as well. A makeshift haul-in stage outdoors does not compair to what the OC Fair offers. After 20 minutes we got up and left the show. A waste of $75.00. Gimmee my money back!

I thought Leanne is a little lacking in her stage movements, she seems lacking in her motions and movements. I liked very much her old songs that she sang, however, most of her new songs I didn't like except the slower heartfelt songs, they were great.

Overall, I would love to see her in a bigger theatre and see her really put more effort into her movements on stage, she has great potential, but needs to treat small events as though they are her main events or people will get lost!

Leanne sure has come a long way and still is a "girl next door" figure. Love her!

My wife and I attend Humphreys Concert by the Bay every year. We had missed LeAnn earlier in the year when she cancelled the Coors/Cricket show with Brad Paisley. Only on stage for 1 hour and 15 minutes but it was nice. She seemed to force trying being genuine and tried to connect with the audience but I'm not sure it ever worked. I think Chris Ayer connected with the audience more so than LeAnn. Again, I would recommend this artist and venue. But, I think she still needs to re-establish her place in country music and decide what side of the fence she will stay.

The seats were great the venue is good and LeAnn gave a memorable performance. The range her voice is unbelievable. Her deliverance of "Summertime" brought tears to my eyes.
