My husband and I went with two friends and we enjoyed the concert from beginning to end. Maxwell covered his old and new hits in a very grown & sexy manner which left the entire audience wanting more. If he is in your city, you need to run to get some tickets.

Although I've been a Maxwell fan since the beginning of his career this was the first time I've had the chance to see him perform live! WOW!!! He did not disappoint! He is amazing live! He had an awesome band with him! He can even dance! I'm sorry I've always just had him pegged as the crooner. I had no idea until the concert that young Maxwell has moves too! He definitely did his thing! He set the mood for the evening. I'm sure without a doubt many babies were conceived that night =) Whenever he's back in town I'll definitely be there! I will not miss him concert again!

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, it took me down memory lane, a blast from the past and a enjoyment to the future. his performance was incredible, (not much of a dancer) but who needs to dance,when you look like him. his vocal range was flawless. sent chills up and down my spine! every since the concert I play his new music, and the (oldies but goodies) over,over,over again. never get tired of hearing his voice. thank you for including the music C.D. (black summer's night). I wake up to him every morning,before I go to work. His show is a MOST SEE!!

This was a great experience. I am not the typical 23 year old young lady, I have a slight old soul and tend to enjoy more neo soul, jazz, and softer R&B music. With that being said I totally enjoyed this concert. My birthday was on the 28th and it was a present to myself. This was the best gift I received this year. Maxwell was beyond great. He truly put on a show and I LOVED it from beginning to end. This concert was truly for the Grown and Sexy. I attend the concert with my pregnant sister and didn't have to worry about her being pushed or shoved due to and immature crowd or wild concert. If there was another concert and Baltimore had not been the last show of the tour I would surly have paid and gone again for anything I missed during a blink ...lol This is true. Great line up with Chrisette Michele ( who should have had a longer set but still did wonderful) and Common as well. Great show throughout. Loved all you guys. Please don't make me wait for another show. PLEASE. Smooches

wow what a great time i had, iv loved maxwell for about 14 years iv got all his albums and to be able to see him live in london was amazing i feel very blessed to have finally hear him live, this is a show not to be missed iv seen many shows but this guy has the full package, i hope is not another 11 years before he returns to the uk dont think i could wait that long. when the show ended i was left wanting more.

It's been a good minute since I've been to a concert so I really sure what to expect from this show. My wife and I met listening to Maxwell 11 years ago and he's been one of our favorite artists for a long time. We just never had the opportunity to see him in concert. When I bought the tickets I didn't even see who the opening acts were. We were just satisfied that we were going to see Maxwell so it was an added plus to find out that both Common and Crisette Michelle opened for him. Both performers tore the house down and would have been worth the price of admission alone. Having never seen Maxwell perform before I expected to not have as much fun for the rest of the show. However, Maxwell's act stole the show. He was incredible, his band was incredible, the audience was electrified for the 90 minute or so duration of his performance. It was immediately apparent that Maxwell is more than just a great singer. He is a student of music and on-stage showmanship and you'll see so many great little tributes paid to the all-time great performers like Michael Jackson, James Brown, etc. The only complaint I had was that the audio was too loud on the band and sometimes drowned out Maxwell's vocals. The band's volume got to the point where on a couple of occasions the audio just sounded like high pitch shrieks and you couldn't make out what was going on. That's too bad considering the audio for Common and Crisette Michelle's performances was spot on. So to summarize, the show exceeded all my expectations. If you're wondering whether to spend you money on this show, I couldn't recommend it more.

Maxwell outdid himself this time! He has a way of connecting with the audience that is just amazing. His look, his moves, his music, his voice... unforgettable!! I'm still on a Maxwell high almost 2 weeks later!

I've always been a fan of Maxwell, although I must admit that I had not listened to much of his music in the last few years, during his hiatus. You know...out of sight, out of mind. Well, the first time I heard Pretty Wings I was reminded of how much I LOVE this man's music and how much I've missed him! I knew that I would HAVE to see him in concert when he came to town. And what better place than the Hollywood Bowl! Maxwell put on a flawless show from beginning to end. I loved the set, with the screen panels that made him larger than life and transported him to dark and rainy streets. Maxwell has not lost a step and I would see him again and again and again and again in concert!

Maxwell was great! He was incredibly sexy with devistating elegance.
I loved his performance, but thought that the sound at the 1st Mariner arena underminded an other wise enjoyable show. The sound was really horrible, no fault of the artist.

Maxwell did an amazing job at the Hollywood Owl. I thought the venue would be too big, but the eight LCD flat panel screens on the stage made it feel more intimate. His vocals live were just as crisp as on his albums, and he knows how to work the stage and the audience!
