I have not seen Edwin McCain in 5 years. He can still amaze me with his powerful voice and lyrics. Chastain Park is a great venue to enjoy the music that Edwin and Band share so willingly. I would travel from Michigan again just to see them at this outdoor amphitheatre.

I have seen Edwin play at the Roxy many times in Atlanta, but the outdoor atmosphere of Chastain Park really made the concert even better.
Also, I think Edwin really likes playing in Atlanta, he was really fired up and ready to play for us.

Loved it! Had no idea what to expect and it blew me away. I am now a TOTAL fan. I loved how he told stories, connected with the audience, and sang his heart out. I love that he writes from his heart and his songs are about real life, and the sweetness in life. Only wish I had caught on sooner. Came for great music and a memorable night at Chastain with out of town friends--one, a musician who loved it--and that's what we got.

I bought the tickets to see FJB but Edwin put on a great show as well. That was a nice surprise!

First time at Chastain and was surprised by all the talking through the show by the people in front of us and in back. Great atmosphere though once you can tune them out.

The concert was fabulous. I love how he just walks out on the stage and starts singing. The man knows how to hold a note! I plan to see him every time he is in Atlanta. The venue and night was perfect!

This was a great concert- best I have been to at Chastain- great weather, good wine and and amazing artist. Started the concert with a song that made the crowd go silent to listen and then roared with applause! Great Job!

Edwin McCain always puts on a great show. With a songbook beyond the wedding ballads he is best known for, his mix of rock, R & B, southern rock and even a touch of island feel provides a night full of variety and fun. Edwin's band is highlighted by Craig Sheilds, who provides a backdrop of keyboards and saxophone solos that rock the house, and Larry Chaney, whose amazing lead guitar elevates all of Edwin's compositions. Edwin has a lot of fans in Atlanta, and he really shines at Chastain.

I've seen Edwin live about 7 times live and he always blows me away with how amazing he is live. Studio recordings can't really capture the excellence of Edwin's voice live. I also love how he engages the crowd with stories behind his songs.

Ths show was fantastic! The only complaint I have is that I would like to hear him do "tip of my tongue", "gwenivere", "Solitude", "3am" or "bitter chill" instead of other artists's songs. You know, the songs that got me hooked on him to begin with. He has too many of his own I love to cover other artists. I was happy to see him looking so great and sounding so fantastic. Definitely recommended.

I've been to so many Edwin concerts, I've stopped counting. Started the journey of many concerts in 1999.

This was perhaps the best I've seen. The band loves this venue and it shows!
The guys were happy, energetic and enthused!
The crowd was loving them!

Edwin is just the greatest guy! He's so kind and generous and gives you all he's got in concert. If you haven't seen an EMB concert you're missing out on a fun experience you'll always remember.
So many bands are lackluster at best live. Edwin just gets better and better. His voice will curl your toes up in your shoes.

With a well-matched and talented opening act, Paul Freeman, opened the concert with an unmatched energy. The response from the aduience was one that I had never seen for an opening act. As Edwin strolled onto the stage by himself about 9:30pm, he opened with a heart-felt song about his family. The rest of the band joined Edwin as they jammed to "My Mystery". Following the slower songs by "Anything Good", Edwin got the entire HOB audience singing and dancing with a more upbeat song...a song that he opened his '08 concert in Cleveland with. McCain used not only his songs, ranging from his first CD to the last, but also added well known songs that everyone sang along with. He even invited Paul Freeman back out on stage where he introduced a song Paul had written "Lost and Found." Giving credit where credit was deserved, Edwin played well into the night, not ending the concert until 12:00am. Edwin McCain is a concert I would reccommend anyone go to see. His music catches attention from teenagers to adult contemporary fans. A concert suitable for all ages! It is more than evident, Edwin LOVES what he does!

Paul freeman opened the show and blew our minds. My wife was in love for sure. Incredible up comer. Then Edwin Mccain came on and really pumped up the crowd. The guy knows how to have a great time. Amazing show.

The entire concert experience was outstanding. I have appreciated Edwin's music for 15 years, and have seen a couple of his shows before. However, last night's performance was really special. I imagine this was partially due to the fact that he was playing at The House of Blues. The entire band sounded great. Every song was good, and the stories he told between the songs were funny and entertaining.
