"That's Not Love" was one of the best renditions I have ever heard him do. On a gold-tone banjo with harmonica, there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
His other most memorable ballad was "City Boy."
Maybe the crowd favorite was "I'm in a Dangerous Mood" - in which he made love to every woman in the room. :)
When he launched into "She Just Wants to Dance" there were lots of women dancing close to the stage, and even those of us in the balcony were boogieing together.
A fun, fun night - and his band was fantastic - and all of them can sing, which was a surprise. They had solos on "The Door Was Always Open."
This was my first time seeing Keb' Mo' in person. He is a perpetual blues machine, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.
