Favorite moment: Trip Like I Do @
Setlist: I don't remember the whole thing - they opened with Welcome to the Fold, also played Soldiers of Misfortune, Trip Like I Do, Take a Picture, Hey Man, Nice Shot (last song), Best Things in Life (can't remember the exact title of this song), and about 10 others. @
Opening act(s): One of the bands was awesome. I think they were called "Menu" but they were not listed anywhere - last band to play before Filter. Other opening band was "Dirty Pearls" which was alright and another band whose name escapes me. @
I've been a very long time fan of Filter and Richard Patrick's other collaborations with different artists (e.g. - Army of Anyone, The Damning Well, etc.). I've seen them in multiple forums, typically smaller ones, and love the energy that Patrick gives off. I just wish he would play some of his more obscure (?) songs. I would have loved to hear something from The Amalgamut, but no go. Take a Picture is so over played at this point but they included it anyway, I guess to please the girlfriends/boyfriends who were dragged along with the fan and may not have heard anything else.
Patrick claims to appreciate his fans but when I met him he lacked social skills, really wasn't able to converse, just sort of grunted and signed my tank top. Oh well, guess he's getting old and tired at this point.
