I've been a fan of Diana Krall since I saw her years ago on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. I'd never had the chance to see her live, though, until this show. Simply put, she's fantastic.

After the first few songs of her set, she turned to greet the audience, apologizing that, because she travels with her two boys, she had a cold and, as a result, had an unusually "smokey" voice. Beleive me, if there was anything wrong with her voice, it wasn't noticed by this audience, who listened with rapt pleasure to her every tune. In between songs, she'd pause to tell us more stories about the adventures of traveling with two boys, endearing her to us every time.

The best part of the show had to be how, as a consummate jazz group, the band worked like a well-oiled machine, no one "leading" but all members shining. Each musician got a chance to shine and show what s/he could do. It was perfect.

Oh, and if I can put a word in for the venue, the fully restored Stanley Theater is STUNNING, and the volunteers there are more than eager to tell you about the building's history. If you get the chance to go, take it!!

I was disappointed with the concert. Diana was negative and dispirited. Her opening remark, for example, was "Why aren't you at the other concerts tonight?" More like bored or discouraged. Her patter wandered and was neither funny nor charming. The songs didn't come across very well, as if she weren't putting in the effort, and she didn't sing for long. I wasn't the only person who asked, at the end, "Is this the intermission? It can't be the end."

This was an amazing concert with incredible energy, style and feeling. Truly satisfying and definitely worth the money. And the outdoor venue was great and the weather was perfect. Dave Koz and Brian Culbertson and the band members really cut up the stage...each so talented, fun and inspiring! Diana's down to earth appeal and talent was a pleasure!

Expected a lot more for my money. She not much of a performer. I just love her CD music though .Never played the song Look of Love. My wife and I favorite song. I would not recommend this concert to anyone crazy about Diane Krall.

Struggling with a cold or the flu, she still wowed the audience. Bit disappointing in the encores though. Seemed like she could not wait to get off the stage, guess if I felt under the weather I would too. Particularly was engaged with her verbal interaction with the audience at times. You could tell she really relates to her fans, and is down to earth.

Diana Krall was in top form Sunday evening. Opening with "I Love Being Here With You," this was the last stop in her world tour, and Diana was clearly in good spirits, having fun with the audience and her choice of songs. Her piano playing was energetic and creative, cleverly changing notes and chords on a number of her songs. As you might expect, the band was tight and played off on another brilliantly. Diana played several of her hit interpretations from the American Song Book, such as 'Flim Flam Sauce,' and several songs from her new CD, including 'Quiet Nights,' 'It Would Be So Nice,' and a moving version of 'Walk On By.' Diana's set ended with 'The Boy From Ipanema,' ending a wonderful evening on just the right note.

I've been listening to Diana Krall for years and was very excited to live for the first time. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The opening act came on at 7 and played for about 15 minutes, leaving a 45 minute hole until Diana came on at 8. I few opening words from her and I seems the band was spending that time in the green room "preparing". She sounded like a space cadet, speaking in halting sentences and forgetting what she was talking about. Perhaps she needs a break from the road or her 2 1/2 year old twins (we have 1 year old twins, so I can understand)... She played well and the music was good, but the main show wrapped up just after 9. They came back out for a short encore and the show was over before 9:30. The venue was nice, as we got to bring in our own picnic dinner, but we were pretty far from the stage and the sound was a little thin. Overall, the show was OK, but spending $60 (each) for just over an hour of music isn't worth it to me.

I've been a Diana Krall fan for years and was quite excited to see her live in concert.

That all dissipated quickly.

Performance - It seemed as though Diana Krall was saving her voice. Much of the night was filled with instrumentals. Some of the solos were fine, but the night lacked enough vocals. I'm very disappointed, and quite honestly, it was a forgettable night. In addition, the song selection was questionable.

Venue - I will not attend another concert at Chateau St. Michelle. Most of general seating had horrible views of the stage. On top of that, about 90% of general admission's view was obstructed every couple minutes by people leaving their seats. And for a venue with numerous concerts, the acoustics were quite poor.

Unfortunately, nothing exciting or positve comes to mind.

Opening act was really good. set the right mood. However the lapse of time between acts was over 30minutes. too long for no apparent reason. Diana Kroll was superb. Her back up music was great as well as all solos, base, drum, guitar & her piano. A true delight. She is so talented. I only wish the show could have been a little longer. Stage lighting was great.All in All a most enjoyable evening. Even bought her new CD!

We really enjoyed our evening at the Chateau Winery concert with Diana Krall. The spot we picked for our wine picnic had a perfect view, was warm, and close to all the good food and wine booths. As the sun set, we cuddled to stay warm as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. This was much better than Woodstock.

We were disappointed that she did not play more songs. It is a huge effort to get to the Bowl; we came all the way from Las Vegas to see her. She did not play nearly long enough and the show felt as though it was canned.

- didn't come on stage until 8:00pm - we were on the road (15 min walk to our car) by 9:50pm! - (needless to say, very short in length ) - did NOT engage with the audience - (kept her head down & facing out over piano that was sideways on the stage) - didn't get a sense that her heart was in it ?!- did she not feel well? - she allowed her band members L-O-N-G solos which was generous of her it but it took away from her time on stage & we came to see & hear HER!?! - of course the little that she did play was AMAZING but just not worth the money & time to see her LIVE.!!!
- if it wasn't for the venue (always nice! - we attend at least 2 or 3 concerts there every summer!) & the beautiful WARM evening & the great picnic my wife packed & we only live 5 min away! (OH, & the wine wasn't bad either) it would have been a BUMMER!!!

Diana Krall and troop were amazing. The guitarist was very talented and one of the best I have seen. The drumer was also great. The music live was just like listioning to one of Diana Krall's CDs. Finally, i enjoy how shedraw the crowd in with her joking and story telling.

I had never been to Ste Michelle before, the venue was great, I didn't know you could get food, and everything else there or I would have skipped dinner before the show.

Diana Krall was amazing again, saw her about four years ago in Santa Cruz at another winery. She has an amazing voice and her piano skills are awesome. I love that she seems very down to earth and chats with the audience.

It was a great time!

Let me start with the fact that Diana Krall was amazing to see live! She sounds just as good, if not better, then she does on CD and in this age of tech that's seldom true!
Being able to picnic and have a bottle of wine was even better.
That being said, $65 for general admission seating, plus $25 or more for a bottle of wine and the restrooms that are in the winery with 15+ stalls are reserved for "VIP" only once the show starts. GA have to treak across the parking lot to the outdoor "restroom" (I've seen camp grounds with nicer facilities) with only 2 stalls.
