My husband and I are big fans and went to the concert for our anniversary. Stevie Wonder played with passion, love & amazing energy! We were both impressed at the fact that he played without taking a break and it looked like he played the music he wanted to play. Stevie was very interactive with the crowd and even had my husband singing - it was priceless!

We were so excited to be able go to this event. We saved to buy tickets, brought our toys, paid the $25 for parking and couldn't wait! We had heard extraordinary reviews, for years, about Stevie's House Full of Toys. We LOVE Stevie! We were sorry to see that his voice was under the weather and give hiim kudos for coming out and trying his best to sing and entertain us. What we were so disappointed was that the rest of the concert was like an audition for a talent show. Every single time an singer came out, everyone would look at each other and say, "Who's that?" We kept thinking that the big stars would appear next. No deal. It wouldn't have been so bad, except for some of the entertainers were off key and unprofessional. It was a HUGE disappointment. You could feel the audience lose their excitement and enthusiasm. At one time, they asked us to sing! I didn't pay or come here to hear myself or my friends sing! When one rapper rhymed diarrhea with Nokia, we knew it was all downhill. They even brought a group they discovered on YouTube 2 weeks prior and they were horrible. Finally after 4 hours, Tyrese came out. That was not enough. So many people left before it was half way over. Still love you, Stevie, and your cause, but will donate some other way next year!

I couldn't take it! It was more like a (not-so) talent(ed) show.
Steve wonder barely sang, instead he brought B grade performers
to do his job. This isn't what was advertised and not what I came to see.
Everything was last minute and unplanned.
Some of the artist even talked about how they got a call
to perform only few days earlier based on a youtube clip.
There was no order. Some Christmas songs played 3(!) times,
Artist were not familiar with the set list, and there were
akward moments in between artist.
It was terrible and very unprofessional. Me and my husband left well before the end of the show only to find many others that shared our experience and frustration.
I deserve my money back!

The show was great! Even though Stevie's throat was sore, my experience was fantastic. Each artist that performed was great and there was surprise after surprise. I've been a fan of Stevie Wonder all my life. I have been to events where he was in the audience. But this was my very first time to see him perform live. I will see him again! No doubt!

I'm being very generous for giving one star. I spent $191.00 to see Stevie Wonder's christmas show, thinking Stevie would actually sing. How folish!!! He did not even sing one complete song, the whole show was like a bad night at the apolo, very disappointing, I understand it was for the charity but you usually get something at most charity events whether its a dinner or a good show or parting gifts. At this event the only thing you got was a lot of disappointments, most people left before the show was over. I think if stevie wasn't feeling good he should've rescheduled his show. If I knew he wasn't going to perform I would have bought a cheeper ticket so I wouldn't feel so disappointed.

Stevie couldn't sing...he brought out a bunch of unknowns to sing songs I've never heard. A 7 year old sang a christmas song. Then he had the audience sing. He left the stage several times for long periods of time. I understand that it was for charity but it really left me feeling cheated because I was so excited to finally see Stevie live and then he didn't sing. The concert should have been cancelled or rescheduled and money should've been refunded, charity or not. Or give your fans the opportunity to donate on their own.

This was the first time to visit annual House of Full Toys. As usual, there are several musicians joining the show. Although Stevie hurt his throat and hardly had a chance to sing.
This event was fulfilled with love and peace.

I didn't expect to see so many amateur acts. I don't watch shows like "The Voice" or "America's Got Talent" on the television so I was disappointed that we sat through three hours of this format. Sure, most of the performers were talented. Some were famous, I think. But mostly, I felt like I had to maintain a positive attitude to try and get my money's worth. I kept waiting for that headlining special guest - Tyrese didn't cut it for me.

This was hands down the worst concert I have attended .I purchased 4 tickets and 3 of them were Christmas gifts for My Husband, Daughter, and Sister. We were all very dissapointed. Many people around us felt the same way. I wish I was able to get my money back as I feel it was a waste of money and time, and I feel I still owe them a Christmas present.
I guess he was not feeling well as he kept complainng about his throat, but we would have all been better off if he would have just cancelled the concert!!
He never sang a whole song himself, and it was more like an ametuer contest than anything else. I felt I was at American Idol tryouts..and not the good ones!!
We left after 3.5 hours of torture ...before the concert was over although it was over for me in the first 3 singers!

To be honest, if not for the fact the event itself was for the benefit of those kids who are less fortunate...we would have demanded our money back!! I understand that Stevie Wonder wasn't feeling well but those they had there to help fill in where less than adequate in handling the responsibility.

Stevie Wonder's House of toys was great fun last night. Doug E. Fresh was the host, and he Beat Boxed for us ...took us thru the early Hip Hop, Rap era...we partied.
Hasan, Ty Tribbett, Judge Mathis, Gianna, Boris Kojo, and young girl, named Dillion performed "Like Diamonds in the Sky" by Rhianna (Nice), Goapele was hot, Mke Epps, Moon Child was cool, Amanda Brown, Melanie Fiona, Raphael Seediq
then, wait, wait for it Tyrese performed "Stay"...Oh my God! I enjoyed the show.

Buno Mars never showed, voice needed to rest:). Show not as organized as last year, but great none the less. Stevie gave his all on stage and it was a treat!!!!!!!
I will attend next year, and the year after that for the performances and the children.

I bought two tickets to take a friend who whined last year when we couldn't get last minute tickets. Then, she stood me up. I'm 69 years old and Stevie Wonder came along near the end of my music appreciation phase, I only knew a few of his songs and hardly any of the music presented as new or up and coming talent.. The venue was top notch, but the show was disorganized and slow.

I'm glad we went to this concert. We got to see Stevie perform even though it was limited. His throat was sore so he had to take breaks. There were some other great singers performing, so it was a nice holiday event.

I've attended the last 4 shows and each year the number of "A" list musicians appearing has gone down. One does begin to wonder about the compassion of the actors/musicians who live in Los Angeles from Mariah Carey to Bruno Mars. Otherwise, Stevie is committed and does a good job; and, Doug E. Fresh was outstanding.

I am sorry that Stevie Wonder's throat was not working Saturday night. However, I was totally disappointed that he could barely sing only two of his songs and had to so with help. I payed hundreds of dollars for front row seats only to see act after act of performers that I never heard of. I tried to make the best of it, but I really went to hear Stevie thinking it would be an experience of a lifetime. I thought that the advertisers could have done a better job describing the concert program. Also, was this not a benefit concert? Not once during the performance did they say who the concert was benefiting. I just hope that if it truly was a benefit concert that I can at least claim my losses on my 2012 tax return . In all truthfulness, I love Stevie, but I'd rather have my money back.
