Hank Williams Jr. has stood the test of time and continues to set the bench mark for all the Real country / new country music artist. You can tell in Hank's comments he has the utmost respect for Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and George Jones. He has not
forgotten his roots. Hank is the greatest pioneer of country music today with vision for the future, by touring and paving the way and helping mold the new upcoming talent Like Jamey Johnson for instance, Jamey has really come out of his shell this year touring with Hank. Nothing like learning from the best how to entertain and make your fan's feel as one with you and your feelings. I went to the Lafayette show, It was Very Good. I went to the Atlanta Show, it was unbeliveable .

Was an excellent concert. Enjoyed it a lot, however the stage was hard to see because of a pole in the way. Also had some people in front of us that stood the whole time which also made it difficult to see anything.

Hank's performance at the state fair was the best I've ever seen him. He's a great entertainer. I loved it when he brought Perry Foster up on stage. I eat at his BBQ place all the time and to know that Hank loves Perry's BBQ was a bonus. Hank supports America and it means a lot that he takes such an active interest in our country.

I've Been To Alot of CONCERTS and this is the best I've ever been to at the MISSOURI STATE FAIR, This concerts ranks up there with the AC/DC Concerts, I didn't know Hank Was so Talented, HE CAN PLAY ANY INSTRUMENT AND ANY KIND OF MUSIC FORM OLD COUNTRY TO ROCK AND ROLL... VERY EXCELLENT CONCERT. IF YOU GET A CHANCE GO SEE...

George Thorogood opened for Hank Jr and I thought he was unbeatable. BUT...Hank Jr put on the best concert ever. I never imagined he would sing as long as he did and the songs were all of his best. Hank Jr is such a great AMERICAN and PATRIOT.

For not being a die-hard country fan, I bought tickets for my girlfriend because she loves Hank and the concert was actually really good. It was a wild and entertaining show from the start. I know some were worried that he wouldn't show up but he blew it up on stage for sure!

Hank made derogatory remarks about President Obama not long after touting the troops. He's an idiot--our president--whether HE likes him or not--IS the Commander in Chief OF those same troops! He said< "We have a Muslim President who hates farmers (farming?)..." At that point my ears shut him out & my group left the concert. Given the # of people drinking in the crowd, he was stirring a pot at an event that was meant to be for FUN. We hear enough political rhetoric on TV, thank you very much! NOT what I paid my hard earned money on. ALSO, I'm in a wheelchair & ordered early, yet able-bodied people who bought their ticket last minute were stage center! Talk to Iowa State Fair Board about it!

Concert was amazing, he played many instruments. Played hisnew stuff, his stuff and old stuff. He played others stuff too. He was unstoppable. He definetly performed for the audience and that sang right back to him.

Setlist: Started with some of his new stuff then on to some older songs then played some songs from groups he likes and respects such as Lynard Skynard, ZZ top, Marshall Tucker, Aerosmith, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and Johnny, Walyon and Merle. Then more of his new mixed in with some more old. @

When he first came out he seemed a little ticked off about something but didn't last long. High powered show full of energy and Bocephus mannerisms! He included the crowd in his song Family Tradition and he loved it. Hank is a man of many hats! He played a 2 hour set!! Awesome!! I loved it!!
