the show was amazing and the fact that performers shook hands with folks and then came ut to party in the bar for New Years with folks made them the best performers I have ever seen. They had so many people emulating them on the side of the stage and enjoyed people participating in the music

I waited 35 years to see these guys. I loved every minute. I came home and dusted off my 8-tracks. I was bouncing and swaying the whole night. It was a night to remember.

Old crowd, old music. The Village People put their heart into the show but sometimes, as in this case, it is not enough. Some things need to be left to great memories.

For the sixth time in my life, I saw the Village People live and the show was great! The guys are loaded with energy still after all these years. The favorites were there - "Macho Man," "San Francisco/Hollywood," "Go West," "In The Navy," and, course, the ubiquitous "YMCA." There's nothing like hearing those old favorites and watching the choreography! We also heard "Can't Stop The Music" from their classic movie of the same name. David Hodo's compilation "Trash Disco" is always fun and the VP added several other groups' music including "You Take My Breath Away" to their show. The show was a little different this time because it didn't open with the Grand Funk Railroad hit "We're An American Band" that I was expecting. No doubt, though, the hour and a half show is worth seeing over and over again!

the village people rocked prim arena they had great harmonys they made sure everyone had a great time! This was my 7th time seeing them in concert and like wine they get better as the years go by.My only slight disapointment was that there are only 2 orginal members I know groups change and all but was sad that david hodo was no longer with the guys not that his replacement was'nt good but still I was looking forward in seeing him still up there other than that as I metioned they rocked was very happy that they did the song from thier god awwful guilty pleasure movie cant stop the music that was a nice treat and had fun doing ymca song with the guys onstage over all it was a fun great concert

The whole venue was really good. The acrobatic performances before the show was great, kind of like seeing Cirque de Soleil performers. The special treat and surprise was an unannounced performance by Ashanti, excellent performance and great, strong voice. Then, the Village People were great as expected. It was a wonderful New Years Eve Party!
However, I did think the costs for drinks was a little too high and having to buy scrips for drinks was cumbersome.

Have been a Village People fan for longer than I care to admit and even have video of "You Can't Stop the Music." However, the group was more of a time machine for me than a rock group. While this actually added to the enjoyment, I fear the Village People have become a one trick pony.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. We thought the Village People were simply fantastic and they put on a great entertaining show. The crowd really got into the show by dancing and singing along with the group.
Gloria Gaynor was also fantastic. She may be getting older but she sure can still sing those great old songs and her new songs. We really enjoyed her show and thought her backup band and singers were also great.

The show was a lot of fun. A lot of energy. They only had a few songs that I could remember that made them the hit they were but they sang medleys of other disco era songs. I have to google the group to see which if any of these guys are origionals.
There were a few older ladies who had consumed a bit of alcohol that were standing near us by the stage who were quite a distraction. They kept screaming at the guys while they were performing - wanting them to sign an album cover. One even climbed on the stage when the guys finished. It would have been nice to have a security person to maybe encourage them to back off a little.
