Johnny's voice is as good as ever. If you'r e a Johnny Rivers fan you will enjoy his concerts. The music volume was good and the mixer did a good job of balancing the sound. The songs were performed just as they were recorded. I'd forgotten just how many hits he'd had over the years. Nice trip down memory lane.

Johnny did more than just play and sing. He also entertained us and got the devoted audience involved in clapping hands and singing along. He played a good mix of old and new songs for variety. The only thing I might have liked to change is that the instruments were so loud that they almost drowned out his beautiful voice on some songs. I love Johnny's voice and guitar skills. It makes me happy every time I play one of his CD's, and the show was even better than I expected. Thanks to Johnny for making himself available to us for a little while, and thanks for signing my CD. I have put it in a special place at home so that the signature will not be damaged.

Johnny Rivers put on a great show. I went with 5 family members and everyone thought he was very good. He played most of the old hits and some of his excellent new material. The band was phenomenal and the Anderson Theater was a great place to see a concert. The accoustics are excellent and there is not a bad seat in the house.
We would definitely go to another concert there especially Johnny Rivers.

Got together a group of nine to see Johnny Rivers. Everyone enjoyed the the music, the band and his unique voice. We sang, we clapped keeping time with the music and enjoyed watching others enjoy the show. As we were leaving the venue, one friend said it couldn't be over because she wasn't tired!

Johnny Rivers was wonderful. We did have problems with the seats tho. We had front row seats and the speakers were too close to the edge of the stage. Everytime the harmonica player started it felt like my ears were going to explode!

I've seen Johnny Rivers twice before; once in Los Angeles in the '70s and again in Atlanta in the mid '90s. They were both great, but this concert was unbelievable. He was just as good, maybe better, than he's always been. He hasn't lost it at all like some of the others. Just watching and listening to him play his guitars was worth the ticket price, but hearing him sing the 'old songs', as well as the new ones, was priceless. He brought back a lot of great memories from the '60s and '70s. If you ever have a chance to see him live, do it.

Amazing performance! Johnny still has the voice and plays all the guitar licks just like on the recordings. Looks like he's in his fifties, though he is seventy. Played all my favorites and some I hadn't heard. He came out front and took pictures and signed autographs until the last person was gone! Great sense of humor and stage presence! Go see him.

As time passes you forget just how many hits great artists like Johnny Rivers had. My high school years were revisited throughout the concert. You realize just how many times his songs were listened to during your high school days when you remember the words to every one of them. Just a great performance and great memories.

There is only one Johnny Rivers and it is apparent that he loves to still boggie! All his songs were great and he maintains his distinctive sound. How is he not in the the R&R HOF?? A wonderful concert.

Great show! and not a bad seat in the house... and this is coming from someone who when I bought my ticket on ticketmaster com thought I was getting front row center but instead discovered 5 minutes before showtime I was LAST row center! Tickmaster online lead me to believe I was buying front row center when in fact I was last row center and I was not the only person that experienced this!
Love the venue because people are quiet during the songs and you can really enjoy the music. It was an odd time for a show but a GREAT time... 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. I wish there were MORE early shows! Beats having headlining acts that don't go on stage till 10pm, 11pm and later!
Johnny was terrific!! Lots of classic and several newer tunes that were quite enjoyable such as "The American Dream". And Finally a big thank you to Johnny for sticking around to sign at least one autograph for the MANY people that waited in line!

Johnny was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. We have seen Johnny's concerts literally since the late 1960's. This by far was one of his best. He sang all his greats, as well as some new music. His voice is as great as ever. We're all a littel older, a little grayer, but like a fine wine, get's better with age. Thank you Johnny and God Bless.

It was a great event; the showroom was packed and Johnny Rivers did not disappoint. His energy was amazing as he belted out song after song. No warm ups, no intermission, just a lot of great songs and memories. Johnny Rivers still as a strong voice and plays guitar as well as any twenty year old! He uses three guitars during the show and concludes with his signature song: Secret Agent Man! If you enjoyed the music of Johnny Rivers, you must see him again!

WOW! Johnny Rivers sounds exactly like he did when he was playing the Whiskey A G0-Go. He put on a terrific show and still plays great guitar. Keyboard artist was also outstanding.

NOT just going through the motions, Johnny Rivers seemed to be having as good of a time playing and singing as the crowd was having listening. Non stop, one after another, hit after hit. Well worth the money.

Saw him when he first came to Deadwood, it was FANTASTIC!!!!! Now, it was over so fast and very little in the way of hits/oldies. Expected more hits, more time. Consequently pretty disappointed. For what I paid I don't think I would pay that again. Basically, for the older stars - We Want to HEAR the hits! A lot of people I talked to wanted the same thing and more of it.
