This is one of the best parties i have ever been to! I had no idea how great Q-Tip was at DJing, only knew him as the legendary hip hop mc for the group A Tribe Called Quest what a shock! The vibe was great, music pumping, the venue was chill, drinks very reasonably priced, beautiful friendly women, what else do you need? Never left the dance floor except to refill my cup (got free shots of patron poored by the DJ himself), danced all night... I wish that Q-Tip made mixtapes so I have something to listen to while I wait for the next "Offline" party!!! Cant wait!

Fantastic variety of music from all different genres of music! On this particular night it was nothing from the past 3 years or so. What an awesome treat to hear the original songs that modern hip hop samples! Danced ALL night- which is WHY i went. Never sat down...my dogs were barkin'....but given the circumstance....I was THRILLED to endure it;-} Go "Q" way to know your music....ABSOLUTELY LOVE & Respect your musical depth. Need more of this in NYC....can't wait to do it again!

The first time I have gone to this party as the flyrers always says if single male must bring a group of girls, but I decided to take a chance and got right in all by myself. And I must say it was one of the best nights ive had in my 5 years here in NYC. The music, the crowd, the vibe was all dope and sexy. I can not stress how dop this dude is on the 1's and 2's.

I love Q-Tip but waiting in line 2 tickets for over an hour is not cool then waiting again past 12 with a really bad DJ before him- not cool If it is a party keep the guest/fans happy
People work hard all week, its Friday night in NYC they want to have fun- not wait and wait
Q-Tip is really cool and super talented- the event- badly coordinated

Q-Tip, if you are reading this, take note.

I am highly disappointed by your show. The music was great, and you have a magical ability to spin. That's a given.

What I am disappointed about, is the idea of this production. It's called "offline" for a reason, no? The billing suggests something quite different than actuality. There is no defense for telling a group of patrons to,"Stop watching you, and look at each other" while you are centered, and elevated, high above the middle of the dance floor. And, by the same token, there is no reason for you to start texting during your set given the nature of the show's marketing. That is what disappointed me the most.

I hope you don't claim this "offline" concept as your own, because you failed to abide by the very notion that drew me to your show to begin with.

Just get back to your roots man. Take your time, do your thing. Just realize that the average crowd doesn't understand how to finger-wag, yell iconic 90's rap hooks, or go "offline" in general. If you want a rocking "party," then download the iTunes top 10. Otherwise, play the Tribe we know and love. Bring the Tribe back.
