Chris Potter puts on one of the best live performances I've heard yet. I have had the opportunity to attend many great performances but this performance is among one of my favorites. Chris is a really cool guy and I even got to take a picture with him and got albums autographed!

Chris is a performer that you may not see in Jacksonville any time soon, and having him here is a treat. Also the big band was fun to hear as well as some great local performers.

Nothing short of amazing to watch Chris Potter so effortlessly do things with a saxophone that are out of the reach of other great players. So down to earth and natural on stage. The entire group obviously loves what they do - from the look of pure happiness on the drummer's face , to the skill and ease of the pianist and the strength and passion in the fingers of the double-bass player - all thrilling to watch.
Only thing short of a perfect evening was the apparent total confusion, lack of preparation and rudeness of the event front staff. It was obvious they were the only ones that did not want to be there.
