john mayer is one of the most talented musicians of our time. his "battle studies" record release show, which broadcast live on fuse, did not disappoint. backed by an extended band and vocalists, including steve jordan and david ryan harris, john made his newly released tracks come to life.
perfectly executed songs were complimented by short, witty anecdotes about the album, the artist, and life. older favorites were woven into the new material in a way that that reminded fans of the journey it took to reach this moment. while often outspoken, john portrayed a true humility and gratitude to his fans.
john mayer created an experience of a lifetime for every person in the beacon theatre, where everyone was focused only on him and the music. this show was outstanding.
