the opening acts were not as good as i had hoped for. enough said; all i needed was Ziggy. he looks & sounds just like his dad, Bob.

These event was the greatest show I have been to in a long time. I was amazed at how everyone was dancing and enjoying themselve. I had great frontrow seats and I couldn't help just watching from the seats. The music got me up and out of my chair and I was dancing to the jams. I was a little upset that 311 wasn't a part of these event. Seeing that the two bands were on a tour recently together, But after the first song was played I don't know if my mind would have been able to handle listening to the two most amazing bands in the world in one night. Totally looking forward to my next chance to experience watching Ziggy play so smoothly on the guitar. Not only was Ziggy playing good though. The band was also on point the whole night which just made things way cooler. Thanks for coming out to the Islands of Hawaii and blessing us with your gifts of sounds.

Opening act(s): Not very good.........the man on stilts was sorta ok but all his songs sounded the same....the chick that sang by herself was not good....not suited for children she played way too long....and the Isreal guy was sooooooo boring . @

I was disappointed that Ziggy did not come on till 8:30.....I expect some opening acts but from 5:00 - 8:30....that was rude....and the opening acts weren't very good...the one girl who sang on her own was a bit crude for my 10 year old...stilt man's songs all sounded the same....and the Isreal guy played way too long and was boring.....however once Ziggy came on we were happy.....Ziggy is a class act.....great music...great man.....a wonderful representation to his Reggae roots and a testimony to his famous father Bob Marley.....as always the Shell is a great place for a concert....acoustics were clear and good.....crowd was cool .......security was respectful......I hope he returns....aloha

It was painful for the first several hours (the show was 7 hours)! The opening acts were absolutely horrible. My son left the show they were so bad! I almost left but did not. Ziggy was good as was one other act ... I think there were 7 acts. Please review the opening acts!! Less and quality would have made this a decent show.

From the opening act to the final song, this event engaged children and adults like no other music can. Its fun and current, not annoying or condescending to children like most of the music in that category. Seeing children perform with their parents, drumming singing and being themselves was so refreshing. Most child performers are overrehearsed mini adults, these kids were being kids, sharing their culture and loving what they do. I felt as if they were inviting us into their private jam session, and I appreciated the kindness Ziggy expressed during the CD signing.

We loved the show! i took my wife and 15 month old daughter. opener rythem child was awesome they handed out drums to all kids and had a jam session before they went on, so cool. and Ziggy is just great and his daughter judah was a very good back up singer.

I love Ziggy marley. However this was a family show where he just played his new family album and "Three little birds". it was an hour long and nice for the kids, but not a typical Ziggy show, which are usually great.

I am not a morning person but it was worth getting up early to see Ziggy Marley. It was such a beautiful experience and I loved being able to speak with him while he signed his CD. The music was awesome and he is such a gracious and beautiful spirit. This is an event I will remember when I am old and gray.

The one knock I had is that I would hve liked there to be a section with assigned seats, and then maybe have a portion of the floor festival seating. The arts and crafts were a very nice surprise. I had 3 little kids with me...and they LOVED the drums that werre handed out at the front door. The opening act and Ziggy both had their children up on stage jamming with them,......very cool

Ziggy was fantastic. My 10 year old and I had a wonderful time. I wasnt sure if he was going to be 'too cool' to dance........but he wasnt!

You would have had to really try NOT to dance!

As far as the venue goes, I dont think they were expecting that the crowd would want mixed drinks (10 am concert), but there were a few of us that would have liked a drink.....there was only one bartender and the line was outrageous. The House of Blues would have made more money if they would have been better prepared.

So, when I first bought the ticket there was no information that explaining it was an event for kids. I was looking forward to see an adult concert! Then I haven't been there and lost my money. Not good at all!

Ziggy put on an awesome show! Our 10 year old son has been into the Marleys for years and this was a great show for kids. (We also saw Ziggy later that night at the Charter One Pavillion.)

The preshow interactive jam was incredible. My son sat with a drum and had a great time. Everyone in the theater was involved!
