This is the second time I've seen Los Lobos and they they were wonderful both times. I've always liked their guitar based roots rock sound. The fact that they put their own twist on it adds another dimension. All three guitarist had their moments to shine. Amazing performance for a bunch of guys who've been around since 1973! Good show.

These guys rocked as always. great show. too bad the crowd was too stiff to handle it. Next time, the Birchmere should have these guys in the bandstand; I'd pay extra to make up for the smaller crowd. these guys want you to dance, and that's the best way to see them.

Los Lobos is one of those acts I see every time I can. Their energy and vibe is contagious. Just wish they could play all night to cover all of everyone's favorites. . .but then they'd be on stage for 5-6 hours, which is impossible.

Venue was nice considering it was a conference / ball room and not a theater. The band was great as expected and I enjoyed the show. The show was only a little over an hour at best which was a great disappointment.

Last time at the Birchmere they were without David Hidalgo, who had become a grandfather that morning and flown back to L.A. While Cesar Rojas can lead and carry the band, it was great to hear Hidalgo's voice again and to hear the ballads he sings and to have the power accordion tunes included. The set was a little short last night, but the song selection was great and spanned careers of many years.

We have seen Los Lobos many times over the past 20+ years and we are huge fans. They are a straight up rock band with tons of guitar but at the same time they are righteous Latino brothers....Some of their songs bring tears to my eyes, other times I was jumping up screaming and dancing. The 20 something waiter even said it was a great show and he had never heard of Los Lobos. They are true rockers in a world of canned music. Mas y mas Los Lobos.

The band was really on Saturday night but they only played 75 minutes. If they would have played a full 90 or 100 minutes it would have been great.

They only played for 1hr and 15min. Very disappointing. Didn't play at least 3 of their
well known songs. Ended with an encore of a Neil Young cover. Very strange.

great show small place. first of all i'd like to thank the people who had the front row center seats who didn't show up. the seats were great. the show however was even better.from the opener evangeline to the encore cinnamon girl the band cooked all night.

The band was great. The venue at Harrah's was fair. Ticketmaster chart on line was inaccurate. The gig was too short. I was told that this is normal for Harrah's.
Next time I see Los Lobos it will be at a different venue.

Los Lobos is a band that is all substance, no flash, no drama, no special effects, just the rock 'n roll facts, ma'am. They began the evening demonstrating their technical proficiency with an acoustic set of Mexican music with traditional instrumentation. David Hidalgo is not a jack of all trades, master of none...nope...he has definitely mastered each instrument he plays. The band then broke out the rock 'n roll for the rest of the evening to a small but boisterous and highly appreciative audience and continued with the rock work ethic that is recognized and respected by their loyal followers and recent converts.

My husband and I have been following Los Lobos since about 1985, so it was great to get back and see them live in Milwaukee. They are top notch still, with seriously great music. Kept the crowd moving, cheering, going almost the entire time. The only disappointment was that they never played any of their old songs (Will the Wolf Survive, etc)...folks around us were saying the same thing.

We have seen Los Lobos since 1972 at a house party, and have gone to their concerts since. They are always awesome and just get better.They are one of our favorite bands to see live and try to see them every time they are in town. We didnt know Lee Rocker, but were pleasantly surprized. They were alot of fun. Just would have been nice to have a dance floor!

The show was great. The opening act was Lee Rocker. This was the first time I've seen Lee Rocker live. He played some of my favorite songs from The Stray Cats. Then Los Lobos played and the crowd went wild. This band from East L. A. has fans from every, race, age and music genre. If you love Blues, Rock and Roll, Rockabilly or Nortenas, you'll love Los Lobos.
