Huey and the band were terrific! The music was great and they encouraged audience participation. I'm just sorry it's taken me this long to go see them.

Cannot believe I waited all this time to see this band in concert! They were great. They have not lost a beat after all these years. I enjoyed hearing their new music. It has Memphis sound with the Huey Lewis twist on it. Great horn section and so nice to see and hear something other than the guitar sound all the time. Crowd was very excited and really got into the concert. Lots of audience interaction and dancing a plenty.

I have been a fan of Huey Lewis and the News since the 80's. I saw them once 14 years ago and they were good but I wasn't Wowed. This time was much different. They sounded amazing. First half of the show was more Soul music from his newest CD. The songs were fantastic. Lot's of great music from the horn section (Sax players were GREAT) and of course Huey on the harmonica with his great vocals. They also added two ladies to the mix that were amazing soul/backup singers to the point it gave you goosebumps! The second half was his hits. He missed some of the songs I was hoping he would sing but played most of them....just ran out of time. Huey was very interactive with the crowd and even asked for requests. The crowd was into it the whole time clapping, applauding, screaming, dancing, and standing ovations. Anyone that is a fan or like a few of his songs should definitely go see them in concert. Huey and the band are some of the best overall talent out there. After the concert, Huey and bandmates actually signed some autographs and took pictures near their tour bus. They were very friendly and talkative....a class act!!!!

Despite being a band from the 80's, these guys still know how to put on a great show and get the crowd rocking. They reserved their hits catalog for the end portion of the concert, but the first half with the soul music (and great horn section) was worth seeing them (for a second time) live. Clowes Hall was a great venue for a band like this; very intimate and with good sound.

We really enjoyed the concert, as Huey Lewis is one of our favorite. It was our first time at this venue, and we liked it. We were very disappointed, though, that his microphone kept going out.

Great show. First half of concert was music from their new album Soulsville which is a great album covering Memphis soul music of the 60's. Second half was their older pop music from the 80's. I gotta respect a group which comes out with a new style of music and plays it without any apologies, Huey said he thinks this new album is their best work yet and I must agree.

The show was well staged. Huey sang with gusto. However, we listened to far too many new songs. The crowd was polite; however, Huey got the most excitement from the standards.

The show was absolutely awesome! Full of energy. The house was rockin' with their original tunes. Saw them 24 yrs ago when they were at Market Square Arena in Indy. They were even better this time at Clowes Hall in Indy. Loved the horns. The group did a few songs from their new album. We will defintely buy it.

Excellent performers. I wish they would have played more and talked less. Loved the taking of requests at the end.
I think they should have played some oldies in the beginning to get the crowd excited, then do a set of new stuff. Also, they took the break too soon. The crowd did not have the energy to applaud the band back onto stage. What would the band do if the crowd did not continue applauding?

I'm old, so I want to hear more of the the 'old stuff' that put Huey Lewis & The News at the top of the charts. The new songs were OK, but they neglected a lot of old tunes the audience wanted to hear.

The show was SO much fun, from the very beginning. The band had a good time,and it was contagious. The setting at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery was just lovely. People were friendly and everyone was enjoying having a nice picnic dinner on a beautiful Friday night. Huey promised to come to our house and personally wash our car if we would buy his CD.
