The soul/blues/motown songs were a added bonus to basically his greatest hits. The horn section is the best. He still has got it after all these years including most of the orginal band members. Huey and the guys perform with alot of positive energy and everyone can feel that. It was almost a packed house.
I love the outdoor arena especially in So Cal. Couldn't ask for better weather.

To quote one of Huey Lewis and the News songs...it was like going "back in time" when they took the stage at Club Nokia on November 12, 2009. The band played all their hits that they are know for, and even did an acapela number which showed their diversity. This was my first time seeing the band live, and I can definately recommend seeing them perform live. Great job guys....enjoyed the show!

Great performance - a fun, fun show. Hearing their classic songs is always great, and even the new songs were received well. The Nokia was late in opening the doors (and the ticket only said when the doors open, not when the show started, which was a bit annoying 'cause we ended up being really early...), but the venue is nice, and the show itself was GREAET!

It was late 80's relived!!!! He does all your favorites, and Huey and the News still put on a fantastic show. The venue is perfect for a great bar band, which is what they are.

WOW! Huey s voice is the same as it was back in the 80's. Seeing him live again after many years was fabulous. The band is extraordinary . The energy was very high. 5 horns at once with beautiful timing and sound.

Huey and the boys still have it! Here's to the next 30 years. From start to finish, they kept on giving. It is unbelieveable the number of hits this band has produced throughout the years. They worked it out and the audience was greatly appreciative.

Even at one Albuquerque worst venues Huey and Band rocked the house. Each number was professionally done and you just knew this band is tight and enjoys what they do. If there was a low of the nite, Huey lost his voice toward the end of a few songs usually in the higher octave parts, but would come back with some primal shouts and back he'd go into the next song without difficulty. We saw him look upwards and say" thank you" several times when his voice faultered but plow into the next song effortlessly. Looking around the crowd , most if not all attendee's were up on the feet the whole nite, dancing and swaying to the beat. The band were some of the best muscians at their instrument and played like it was their last gig. Huey played all his hits and a few lesser know numbers and was recieved with loud applause each time. Even though it was not a packed house, each attendee got their money worth and all comments leaving were positive .

The concert was great and the band members really connected with the fans.
I wish they would have had big screens just to see them a bit closer. I had good seats but still. It is nice to see Hewey Lewis so fit and not one of these over weight musicians. He still puts on a good show.

This is one of THE BEST concerts I have ever gone to. I have never really heard their songs before going (When I was there I recognized a couple of the songs from the radio) This was an excellent concert I would indeed go again! Excellent Guitar Player, EVERYONE WAS EXCELLENT!

A wonderful mix of his great hits and some standards played to the crowd. Huey still knows how to entertain and everyone left feeling it was a hell of a good show. Will be sure to see him the next time he is around this part of the country....Thanks to the band it was a special night for my group and made some great memories.......

My seats were on the 2nd row....have never been that close at a concert before!!! Last time I saw the band was in Amarillo Tx, 1987, I think. This show was even better. I appreciated the security, keeping people back so they didn't block my view. I have a bum knee and was unable to stand the entire time. Towards the end of the show people were allowed up front, I was one of them!! It was such a great concert and I enjoyed the encore also.
