Honestly, it felt like KC was playing at a bar mitzvah. We were up in the large balcony, and there were only some people sitting in the first two rows. The whole rest of the balcony was completely empty. It was actually kinda sad..
I saw KC back in the 90's and they were so fun. Now, just boring and tired. They played most of the hits and the rest of the show was filled with old cover songs like "Stand by me", which were not covered very well...

we had lawn seat great veiw from our seat fantastic sound as well i think the chairs were to close together you felt like you were seatimg on the person next to you. but as for the concert it self it was great loved everything about it

KC & the Sunshine Band are truly amazing...KC is as good as ever, and his band is awesome too....Their concert made for a unforgettable, exciting, wonderful, and happy event....myself and my friends will be there again next time, and can't wait for another great concert from KC & the Sunshine Band....Thank you KC!! Too bad I did not read the reviews and ask for a refund before the concert last night in Baton Rouge. It was cancelled in Feb so we had the chance.
It might have been worth $35 to see this show but that is pushing the value.
KC did not feel well and it showed.....along with him telling us at the beginning.
It would have been better if he had stayed behind the keyboard and just sang his songs but instead he "twirled" and shuffle ball changed (dance move) repeatedly with the dancers across the stage.
He appeared on stage in black pants, black t shirt and black unbuttoned shirt....very depressed looking. It did not flatter his figure at all.
The band sounded good....the dancers were full of energy which just made KC look even more out of shape and exhausted.
His set and sound were good....Maria, the lady singer, who has been with him for many years is still very good.
The costumes on all the ladies were CHEAP looking....not sure if they were trying to be sexy or what.
He is certainly past his prime and might need to hang up his traveling shoes.....stick to making a new recording and let his fans support him that away.
Spend your ticket money on his CDs if you want to Boogie!!!

It was a good concert. KC was under the weather, but gave his best efforts. It was fun to go back in time and listen to his greatest hits.

I saw KC a few years ago at Belterra. Liked it then and loved this show at Cherokee even more! The sound quality was more clear at the Cherokee venue. KC still has the voice and the work ethic! Loved the high energy and his professionalism! The band was great as well! This music is much better than most of the performers in the current music scene. LOVED THE SHOW!!!!!!!

Absolutely incredible, even though he was sick as a dog he sounded great. Loved hearing all the old music I grew up with and see all the dancing. I saw him when I was 21 with his old band and now at 55 with his new and thoughly enjoyed both shows.

KC and the Sunshine Band changed the Hard Rock into a Disco pounding night. While KC s 62 now. His music still makes me move. I didn't sit down for one song. I know I was one of the youngest atendees at the concert, but I can't describe the joy I get out of KC's music. You can't help but dance the night away to his music. When the concert was over I am proud to say I was sweating from head to toe, not stopping a minute for a breath.

Perhaps I had greater expectations! I'd prefer to listen to the album (or CD) to hear the sound of KC when he was in his prime & hot & sexy! He was prancing across the floor.... and it just didn't look "cool" to me. Thought the background visuals were dated and not much $ was put into the creations. Thought the dancing girls were just ok. Didn't love the Christmas songs?????

This was my 12th concert from Kc and The Sunshine Band and I cant think of a better experience than the one I had Saturday.Amazing isnt even a start to how the atmosphere was.One thing though is Id like to see them with another big time band like bruce and the e street band or with Chicago two great bands who started out in their hometowns.

KC and the Sunshine Band were fabulous at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. KC grew up 14 miles from this venue and, therefore, was performing before his hometown crowd. He had so much energy, dancing all over the stage all night as if he was 22 (he is 62). He looked fabulous and sounded great and his band really rocked.
KC joked a lot with the audience and showed his great sense of humor. For example, he told the kids in the audience who didn't know who he was "I am Justin Timberlake in 30 years and Justin Bieber in 100" in reference to being older and a little overweight. When he hit a very long and high note, he said "Eat Your Heart Out Adam Lambert". He was truly very personable.
KC and the Sunshine Band performed all their hits such as Get Down Tonight, That's The Way (I Like It), (Shake Shake Shake) Shake Your Booty, Boogie Shoes, I'm Your Boogie Man, Keep It Comin' Love, Please Don't Go, Give It Up, and more. He also sang Santa Claus Is Coming To Town which was funny because the cued up snow never occurred until his next song which he joked about.
On his final number, KC sang the Star Spangled Banner and ended with "God Bless The Troops, God Bless The Families Of The Connecticut Tragedy, and God Bless The United States Of America". He mentioned the tragedy earlier in the show.
In short, I never saw a performer put his heart and soul into a performance like KC did. I believe he had to have lost about 10 lbs. from his constant dancing all over the stage. This was a concert for the ages !! Super great !!

The Hard Rock Cafe in Davie, FL should have Gigantic Screens as to show the stage for people (as me) who sat away from the stage!!! 2 cameras woulkd have done it to catch close-ups from KC, and the musicians on their solos... The artist was seen from my point of view as they were 2 inches high...

KC and the Sunshine Band was terrific!!! I loved every minute of this show. Almost the entire crowd was dancing. How can you not dance to this fantastic rockin' music? KC can not only sing well but he let us know that he would soon be 62 yrs. old and he danced from one end of the stage to the other!!! He ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!! I loved this show so much and from growing up in the same community as KC and having him recognize South Floridians was great!! We all yelled, screamed and sang the entire night!! Thanks KC for a wonderful show. Loved his sense of humor. If he plays here again - I'll be there!!! Great show!
