We saw Vince last year at the Hampton Casino and he was great so we decided to go again to this event. Again, Vince did not disappoint - he was absolutely GREAT again and we love that he interacts with the crowd and tells stories about the songs and how they came about.

Our seats were perfect - 7th row in Section C. It was a surprise bonus to meet his eldest daughter substituting for a vacationing backup singer. Jenny has inherited the family pipes and she proved there is nothing more perfect than family harmony. We like the way Vince interacts with his fans during the show. His concert was friendly and intimate. His music as always was original and his guitar skills are equal to none.

The venue was a wonderful place to attend an event. The people working there were very polite and helpful. The show was awesome. Vince did a great show and love the fact that he is the only one, no warm up act. I go to as many of Vince Gill concerts as possible.

I have always loved Vince Gill's music and was thrilled to be able to see him in person. Was also really surprised at the amazing talent of his daughter. She would be seriously competing with Carrie Underwood and other top stars if she created a cd. I'll look forward to that happening!

I continue to be moved by Vince's music. It brings a smile to my face, gets my feet tapping, and sometimes makes me cry when he plays his love songs.

Thank you Vince for a tremendous show. Keep making cds!!

There are few singers that sound better live than recorded. Vince Gill is one of those exceptions. Vince has always had a remarkable voice and excellent musical skills (in spite of what he says about his ability to play the fiddle) but he has improved dramatically over the years. His voice has reached a level that puts him at the top of the list with other great country legends. His musicianship is outstanding. When he takes the stage you feel like you are in his living room sitting down for an evening of casual music and conversation. I was also delighted to see his oldest daughter singing with him. It was obvious that they have a very close relationship. I would definitely pay to see him again. I would love to see a performance with Vince and Amy as she has always been one of my favorites. The outdoor theater at Harrah's Rincon is probably very pleasant in the summer, but in October is was a bit chilly. The next time I pay to see Vince Gill I will see him indoors.

Our first visit to Harrahs Rincon Casino. It was an awesome show (2 full Hours), awesome leg room, awesome armroom, Harrahs does not pack you in like sardines (unless you buy a bleacher seat). It was a little "cold" outside in October, but with the right jacket and shared blanket, it made for a great evening

Vince was awesome as usual. Funny quips in between songs. He has a great band, and actually had his daughter Jenny as a backup singer. She came out and sang a song Vince wrote, and also sang a Bonnie Raitt tune. Very good concert. Nearly froze---it was VERY cold for San Diego.

Despite the cold that blew in way to early, this was an excellent performance. Vince Gill is a wonderful entertainer and top notch song writer, not to mention a guitar player of exceptional talent. His songs speak of the passages of his life and current events. I was especially glad to hear "Go Rest High On that Mountain" as it has personal significance.

Vince is a great performing. There were a few songs that he missed.

It was confusing that it was cold at the event but there were no warm drinks available.
How hard is it to brew coffee?

Vince Gill is amazing. His voice is rich and sounds just like it does on the grand ole opry. He is down to earth, connects with the audience and makes the evening a memorable one. Amazing guitar artist. True country gentleman! I especially love his signature 'Please make welcome" when introducing his band. His daughter has a voice to remember and is very attractive. Nice to have seen both on stage. Refreshing to see country music is #1.

He is one of the best performers to go see. He puts on such a fantastic show and you always get your money's worth. I had the chance to see him years ago and it was a great show then and a great show now! I was freezing cold though in the outdoor venue, but I wouldn't leave for anything. Very humble man and a great singer/ guitar player/songwriter! His daughter Jenny performed as well and is a very talented young woman.Look for her in the future. It was, unbelievably, not a sell out so lots and lots of people missed a huge opportunity to see one of the best performers around. For him to play in our small and primitive venue is amazing! I have no photos, as no cameras were allowed although I did see some people taking pix with their phone cameras.

on a nite when one would almost wish to be around a fire instead of the open sky theater at harrahs ricon casino, vince gill's guitar playing alone made this fan glad to be huddled in the bleachers. gill is a master of the 6 string, something that is much less known than his extraordinary lyrics and songwriting. gill played most of the leads, while singing country favorites. his vocals were typical, a voice that is so recognizable and still in great form, not affected by the night's chill. even though i was not familiar with some of the song choices, the sets were well placed, relevant to his highly established position in country- contemporary music. he certainly covered his long carreer, as was typified by the age group of his audience, which was older than most of his musical selections. this listener was confused as to why the crowd was not on their collective feet, enjoying the extended jams of some of his upbeat country -rock tunes. vince can truly stretch out , and his very experienced group of musicians was up to the task as well.
the night's program was highlighted by gill's lovely daughter, stepping out from back-up vocals to sing a couple of his original compositions.
vince gill once referred to the nashville music scene as "a young man's town".lets hope he was not so sincere: we need this artist"s musical gift for decades to come.

My wife and I went to the show on June 13th. Vince was on his game. The show was awesome and he went thru material from the beginning of his career thru the most recent songs. It's a show I'll never forget, since sadly, my wife passed away just 4 days later. Thank you Vince for allowing us to have such a pleasant evening with your show. We had just celebrated our 28th anniversary and we fell in love all over again just by being there. You are a awesome performer who should be showcased much more than the radio stations give you time for. Thanks for the memories. Jersey D.
