Opening act(s): Chrisette Michelle was a wonderful compliment to Dee Dee. I knew Chrisette could sing but never really heard her sing jazz. She did her thing! @

Dee Dee Bridgewaters is wonderful and her band is fabulous as well. I love the way she/they capture the audience. I will see Dee Dee and band whenever possible!

An artist who MUST be seen in person. As good as her music is on disc, her personal fabulousness just shines in person! She brought the house down!

I was always a fan of Ms. Bridgewater -- but she outdid herself as an artist in her performance at Town Hall on June 24, 2011. Her ease and rapport with the audience, her vocal range and her amazing ability to mimic the sound of every instrument on stage was astounding! No one on the jazz circuit today can put over a song like Dee Dee. It was one of the most memorable concerts I have been to in a very long time.
