The show was a blast, sort of an off hand reunion for myself and about 15 friends that grew up jammin to Bootsie and P-Funk. The show was great and the energy level took me back to the 70's and 80's party times.

The show was great. Awesome performance! Loved how he felt comfortable with the crowd to come down from the stage and be with the audience, even though security advised him against it. Loved the outfits and the lit up guitar. I love performers that know the reason why they are where they are is because of the fans. Some performers don't want to be around their fan base and Bootsy goes out of his way to be around us. He's an awesome bass player. Its great to be able to still see him play! Love ya Bootsy! Ya need to come back to the Keswick soon!

Bootsy is still the best bassist ever! His band is great! His tribute to Sly Stone and Parliament was great ! It's a must see !! Cameo was excellent also! The Funk is alive!!

although i missed my once in a lifetime up close bootsy photo, thats still my main funkstar

The show was absolutely amazing! Cameo opened & was off the hook, and Bootsy was crazy cool! My only complaint is that Chene Park needs more ushers, and it needs to sell seats that exist! After wandering around we finally found someone to show us to our seats, which didn't exist. Apparently their Ticketmaster sales didn't match up with their box office seating. Thankfully the show wasn't sold out so we still had seats.

After seeing George Clinton and Parliment 25 times in last 4 years, I was overjoyed to see our home town boy Bootsy in Detroit. He did ALL of his most loved songs including "I'd rather be with you", "Stretchin' out", and "Bootsy". He even threw in a couple of bonus like "Hollywood" and "Munchies for your Love" At the end of the show, he came out into the audience and jumped and sang and touched all the fans. It's was the Best!

I'm a Funk lover and have followed Bootsy's career for a long time. Since, well let's not go there. LOL! Anyway, this was the best show ever. The music was great and the venue was the perfect size. Bootsy played like he did way back when and didn't miss a beat. Bootsy had a great mix of his classics with a little of his newest music mixed in. I got there early and was able to get a spot front and center. He made that bass do things that were totally amazing! If he comes back I'll be there!!

I came up from Dayton with my two boys, one 18 & 16 years old, so the can see a ledgen in the "Funk" industry! We had a ball at this concert! Bootsy is one of kind when it come to FUNK music!

This was by far the worst live performance I had ever attended. First of all, we expected an outdoor concert but it ended up being indoors instead. Second of all, there was no place for us to sit - we had to stand. Doors were to open at 6:30pm but did not open until 7pm. Bootsy Collins did not even take the stage until 9:15pm! People were smoking indoors and we smelled marijuana. We left 10 minutes into Bootsy's act because my husband's knees were bothering him from standing all that time. It was so loud that our clothes were vibrating.
