It was a fun and unforgettable. It was like 2 different concerts. While Kansas was delightly entertaining--never realized so many of their songs had a volin played in them. 38 Special brought you to your feet all the way. No wonder both bands are still entertaining after 40 yrs.

If you like crisp, clear, body pounding lyrics mixed with emotional words this is music to listen to. Even without the second drum set the band was like wwwwwwwoooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This group doesn't need fire and brimstone. THEY are fire and brimstone. Come back to this area anytime.

.38 Special! That's all I need to say. Great music and great entertainers! It was just great.

Kansas...talented, but not the entertainers of .38 Special.

I wish I could have just had 3 hours of .38 Special...the venue was nice and my seats were perfect!

I have seen 38 Special many times and will continue to attend whenever possible. Not a huge Kansas fan and would only buy a ticket for them if they were with a band I did want to see.

Although a very nice facility, the venue for this event was very strange. Very subdued crowd for much of the first act. Got scolded for standing up...at a rock show. Go figure

It has been two days since the concert and my voice still isn't back! The music and the show as a whole was amazing! We had inexpensive seats but could see with no problem and both bands made us feel included by talking up into the crowd - not just to the people in the front row.

I have been a Kansas fan for many years. I was so excited to hear that they were going to be in Murray. This was my fouth Kansas concert and they are still rockin'! And 38 Special was okay too.

The concert was wonderful! I was surprised that Kansas had staff event keeping people away from the stage giving the higher price ticket purchases full view. When .38 Special came on they were not keeping people away from the stage and there were 5-deep crowds standing in front of the seats. I would have been upset if I had been in those seats and not able to see from them.

I am a big Kansas fan, this made my 26th time to see them. They were still just amazing. Steve Walsh sounded better vocally than he has in awhile. The band is just THAT GOOD. If you have never seen Kansas, you need to, they are still one of the best shows going.
This was my first time to see .38 Special. I was blown away at how Don Barnes still sounds like he did when I first heard them years ago. They were really good

Both bands performed for almost an hour and a half each!! Both groups sounded awesome, as good as they've ever sounded! .38 Special I have to say, absolutely rocked the stage non-stop. Not only did their music sound great, but they put on an awesome show!! Great bunch of guys and so glad they came to Murray. Would love to have them back again soon!!!

Kansas was ok, I only knew 3 of their songs, but 38 SPECIAL was TOTALLY AWESOME, i cant wait to see them again. This was a first time for me to see them and it wont be the last!!!!!!!!!!! Cant wait for the CD to come out that they recorded live in Murray, I will buy it the day it comes out...

The wild eyed southern boys finished their tour with a bang in Murray Kentucky...I saw the show from the front of the stage...and had a great time...this is my 3rd time to see these guys...they ALWAYS rock the house

Kansas was good, did some of their old songs. But then 38 came on stage. WOW what a difference!!!!!!!!!!!!! They Rocked hard! They had awesome interaction with the audience, besides getting the audience on their feet! It was an awesome show, with lights, and smoke. And a fantastic drum solo!
As much as I enjoy "Dust in the Wind", Kansas needs to retire, sorry to say there's no fire left.
