When I went to go see Weezer, I didn't plan on them playing for less time than it took me to drive to the venue. By the way, the venue was great! It was surprisingly empty when we got there and we were able to get right up to the stage.
The opening act got cancelled at the last minute so they found a replacement which was just a guy and a guitar, I forget what his name was, but he was ok. This delayed the show by about an hour though.
When Weezer finally came out they went right into their set and played a lot of songs you'd hear on their greatest hits cd and a few of their deeper tracks as well. They sounded fantastic and the lights were great. I only had two complaints about the show. First, there was almost 0 crowd interaction. Second, they played for about 90 minutes total. They came on at 9 and we were out the door by 10:30. I was pretty bummed out about that, but besides those two things, the show was a blast. They really do sound great live and it was a lot of fun, it was just a shame that it had to end so quickly!
