Favorite moment: My favorite moment was when Gavin took off his jacket! I also liked Gavin's jokes and his personality. @

Setlist: The last song Gavin did was my favorite and Shine was my favorite by Collective Soul but I enjoyed every song from both artists. @

Opening act(s): I liked when Ed kept throwing the mic stand around, that was awesome! The crowd was jumping up and down and most had their hands in the air throughout the entire concert! It was definately high energy! He refreshed and energized me! @

Featured Review

Gavin Degraw has so much soul and I felt his music like no other musician I have ever heard! And it was refreshing that Ed from Collective Soul had so much energy! The sound was great for both bands and I liked the way both bands worked with the audience and how they treated the other band members with appreciation and respect. I definately will be making some new music purchases in the near future and I look forward to seeing both bands in concert!

One of the best bands to see live. I see them every time they come anywhere close to my home town and they never dissapoint. High energy shows . They played for over 2 hours and always seem to enjoy themselfs as much as the crowd . Can't wait for them to come back this way again. First concert at the commadore ballroom and it is a fantastic venue.

What a great concert! I wasn't really looking forward to CS because it had been a while since they had been on my top 40 playlist. I wasn't impressed with the venue (Flames Central) as they'd sold us the tickets without telling us it would be standing room only, and without giving us the option to purchase a ticket that included a seat - which definitely was an option, as we found out when we were shooed out of the seats and told that they were reserved for some other ticket-holders. We would definitely have purchased a seat if it had been an option. However, I digress, were talking about Collective Soul here, not my beefs about the venue. Collective Soul really impressed me with their professionalism, passion and dedication to their craft. I'm not sure how long they were on but they gave more than their money's worth and then came back for a multi-tune encore (was it five more?).

The band was amazing but the venue left something to be desired. I also was not to thrilled with their opening act Crash Parallel. They still have a ways to go. But Collective Soul was just wonderful!!!!1

I've seen Collective Soul many times and they are always excellent. This event was no different. The included 4 new songs Welcome All Again, Dig, You and Staring down from the Rabbit album. They were great songs. Ed and Joel did a little skit where Ed sang and Joel mimicked him on the guitar which was entertaining. Joel also sang one song which I always enjoy. I will definitely see them again. Some of the band members were around after the concert giving fans a chance to meet them and have photos.

The opening act, Black Stone Cherry, was too loud and their music too heavy. They were not a good fit for Collective Soul. I had previously seen Green River Ordinance open for them and it was a much better pairing.

The concert was at the Hard Rock Hotel and I was disappointed in how poorly run the line up and entry was for the concert. We were giving conflicting information about where to line up by more than 10 different security personnel which caused a lot of stress.

As stated previously will definitely be seeing them again however, I doubt I would go back to the Hard Rock. My 5 star rating is for Collective Soul, not the opening act or the facility.

After a 2 hour drive to Hollywood, I was glad to finally get to the HoB. The doors opened around 7:40 after about a 30 minute wait and right when we all got in, the curtains opened for the first performers. After Ryan Star and Black Stone Cherry played, the crowd was pumped for Collective Soul. They played all of their hits (Heavy, Listen, December, Run, Shine, etc) with so much crowd interaction. After an hour set, CS left the stage only to come back a few minutes later with a three song encore, leaving all of us cheering for more once they finally left/

Overall, it was a great show with little wait and great service once inside

Collective Soul never disappoints!!! They have a FANTASTIC stage presence, and really know how to work the crowd. I love how the setlist had both old and new songs, really lets everyone in the audience enjoy and participate! Absolutely THE BEST on stage performance of all the different bands Ive seen play in concert. Collective Souls music is just fantastic. I cant say enough great things about them! Oh and the opening acts were actually good this time! Great show!!!!! TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY!!

Wow, what a show. Collective Soul was amazing. There really aren't enough words to describe how much we loved the show. The band sounded and looked great. They had tons of energy and really put on a great show. The really fun part was I got to meet Ed Rolland in the elevator at the Hard Rock on the afternoon of the concert. He was very grac ious and friendly. I even got my picture taken with him. He really couldn't have been nicer. What a great guy. It made the whole experience amazing. No wonder their music is so great.

Black Stone Cherry was a huge surprise. They rocked the house, and set the tone for what was to come, ANOTHER unforgettable night of energy from CS. As a die hard fan, seen them more than 10 times before around the country. Ed was his usual playful self in a small venue setting where they are at their best. Fantastic audience interaction. They are true entertainers who include you, the audience, in their experience -- unlike most bands who are so full of themselves, they forget why they are there.

The whole band looked like they were having a great time! They played all the songs you would hope to hear and MORE! Saw them at House of Blues Hollywood...LOVE this venue! No matter where you stand, you feel so upclose! Had a star-sighting, too! Jason Castro from American Idol (you know...guy with dreads). The only bummer was that it ended!

Surprised by how good Ryan Star was. I hadn't heard of him before but he really got the crowd amped up. Collective Soul was just pure awesomeness. The intimacy of the House of Blues helped make the band really play to us and being a mere 20-30 from the stage was amazing. These guys have been around for a while and just rocked the house.

Collective Soul are absolute cool professionals who love what they do, and it shows,every time. I was sitting in the Loge, but they made it feel front row. Ed Roland brings the show to each of the fans. He is awesome as the front man. They all ROCK! They hit every note. So many songs hit the energy of a finale, and yet, they played on. Absolutely GREAT!

Collective Soul sounded outstanding for being outside around a pool. I thought it was overcrowded, creating a very uncomfortable(warm) evening. Was disappointed that they didn't play HEAVY though. Other than that, it was very, very cool to be in VEGAS at a POOL to see a show

Collective Soul brought another excellent performance to the beautiful Regency Ballroom on Monday night in San Francisco. They opened with Welcome All Again off their eighth and self titled album. Also introduced from "the Rabbit Album" were Dig, Fuzzy and Staring Down,and of coarse they went through all our favorites from Shine, December, Gel to Hollywood from the Afterwords cd. New to this show were added lighting and some background imagery that added to the performance. This is a great band of good people that I hope continued success for and look forward to seeing again with all their friends!

These guys still after 16 years can write great music!!!! The show was so good!!! Stage show and sound was awesome!!!!!! Really LOVE these guys!!!!! I have followed them for the last 16 years and still are my favorite band!!!!! They have grown into fine men in the musicbiz!!!!!!!!
