Opening act(s): Aimee's opening act, Ted Leo, left a lot to be desired. He is on tour without his band and isn't very engaging as a solo artist. He mumbled between songs and his attempts at humor fell flat. Many of his songs sounded alike which made for a boring set. @
Aimee Mann sounded great and was gracious and funny with the somewhat lame audience (if she was as tired of the same people in the audience shouting out the same "we love you, Aimee" line as the rest of us were, she didn't show it). The sound could have been a little better -- sometimes it was hard to make out her lyrics because the music was overpowering her, but in general, she sounded really good.
