Warren was totally amazing, along with his entire band... Great show!! I was told that venue never goes past 11:00pm because of the union.. They've unplugged bands in the past.. They let him come on and play an encore! Every song was phenomenal, the space was great and the ticket price was awesome!!

This was the first year that I have ever been to X-Mas jam, and now I wonder what I have doing the last 24 years. The show was amazing from start to finish. With the last second addition of the Avett Bros, an already great show got even better. I think that Trombone Shorty was the best, with a close, close, close second being String Cheese. It was really fun seeing all the musicians coming out and sitting in on songs with each other. The one lull in the show was Sherl Crow. She is a great musician but you could feel the energy leave the building when she came on and did her songs. I didn't really understand why she was on the bill, but thought she might be trying some different material but it was the same 90's Sheryl Crow material. She did however have the best song of the night, "Can't Find My Way Home." I will def make an effort to attend this in the future.

The surprise set from the Avett Brothers alone was worth going. String cheese was great. Sheryl Crow eh. The crowd was very warm and friendly, cops were visible bit not oppressive.

The concert started out strong with the Blind Boys of Alabama and continued with each artist /group that followed. The line up was so good that you didn't want to leave to go look at tshirts or get a drink. And the crews changing the stage were super efficient this year, perhaps because of the concert being televised. This was my first Christmas Jam, but I was with folks who have been many times before including my son. The crowd was great, everyone was friendly and pumped up for some great music. Trombone Shorty rocked the place with his talented band and his own superior talent on the trombone and trumpet. I loved it when he brought the Blind Boys back out. Avett Brothers were awesome as was the String Cheese Incident. And of course, Warren Haynes was remarkable no matter who he jammed with, including Sheryl Crow, who was wonderful too.

Warren Haynes was great as always. Not the best year, but a good one. Loved the Blind Boys of Alabama and Trombone Shorty. String Cheese Incident played too long. They were too loud and the same beat kept coming around in their songs.
Warren's sets were very good, especially the opening with the Blind Boys. Sheryl Crow was good but her PA system was very poor for this yearly production. Either it was too loud or was distorting.
Lastly, not many of the artist stuck around for the final jam. Maybe being televised had something to do with it. I know there seemed to be less jams, probably due to the broadcast.. Still, it is for a good cause and you definitely get y our money's worth. Sadly, though, white people can't dance (yes, I am white), but they are fun to watch as they enjoy themselves.

Xmas jam did not disappoint..great venue, great artists, great crowd. Even with the new TV-friendly format everybody played great sets. Was awesome to see artists return to the stage throughout the night. not a huge sheryl crow fan, but trombone shorty and warren haynes kept me interested for the last few songs. Impossible to say which set I enjoyed the most.

Excellent across the board. Trombone Shorty was a very pleasant surprise; Cheryl Crow was as expected; string cheese incident was fantastic - I had never heard of them before and they blew me away.

Thought the show was put together well and each of the musicians delivered! I also like the time change better this year, start early and finish early. Already have enjoyed watching the replay of the Xmas Jam on my dvr, big thanks to AXS for filming this show in high definition.

Christmas Jam was incredible this year. It moved along a lot quicker than in the past. The special Guest The Avett Brothers were great! Sheryl Crow was fantastic, great “Can't Find My Way Home” with Warren. Trombone Shorty, the Blind Boys, and String Cheese all great. An event that I will not forget.

The line up was excellent, the crowd (full house) was well managed. The sound quality was a mixed bag, Cheryl Crow especially. Her voice was muffled, couldn't understand a word and the bass was overwhelming. String Cheese was just a bit too loud during parts, I felt like I was being pounded back into my seat.

Awesome music, awesome artists. This was my first Christmas Jam at the Asheville Arena at the Civic Center. The event began by standing in line at 4PM. Doors opened a few minutes after 5PM. Music started on time. Breaks between sets allowed time to go get a drink. The only negative, I am sorry to say that will keep me from going again, was the amount of illegal drugs in the audience. I am not used to being around it, and it was very bothersome. There appeared to be no interest by the event staff to do anything about it. My sister and I had to get up from our seats a few times during the concert to go get some fresh air. Too bad, I will just have to enjoy music from i-Tunes, or other venue.

Warren was exceptional,Alicia has great range and the rhythm section was spot on.
The organ player sttood out as his style took me back to the sixties.Blues fans are treated
like valued customers at The Egg unlike most venues where we are second class at best.

Top notch start to finish, great band behind Warren and Alecia can belt it out, she's hot. Ron's bass work was down low. Down side, late start and 11:00 curfew allowed for only 1 encore song and kick drum was louder in second set increasing stage volume. That was my first Egg show, I'll go back!!!

Great show . I've never seen a show that started off so well. I was speechless after the first 4 songs. I turned to my friend and said " I think I'm in shock" ! Never saw a band start off so fast. Sound quality from Warrens guitars was crystal clear.
