Tracy Byrd is one of the true classic Texas cowboy country singers. His voice is one of the best in all of country music.
His band was great too.
The venue at Penns Peak was excellent. It was our first time there, but we will be back.
If there was one complaint it would be from the sound people. For a small venue they didn't need for the volume to be for a stadium! I'm all for loud music, but when the bass drum is the predominant sound, and the volume is so loud that Tracy's classic voice becomes garbled and distorted, I think it's time to turn down the volume.
He's not like artists that don't have voices strong enough to do concerts without outside help.
Turn the volume back a few notches and let everyone hear just how great his voice is.
