It was a great show as always; our 8th trip to Kalamazoo State Theater. It is after all Christmas, celebrating the birth of Christ, but I wish John were less 'preachy' about the whole thing. I know he wants to share the joy he has found in his religion. I also know he is a truely fantastic vocalist and entertainer who truely connects with his audience. I would vote for less preaching and more singing. With that said, he performance was very moving from his Country songs to the O Holy Night. We heard him sing this with his voice alone one summer at the Ionia Fair........I got chills. In the concert at the State Theater I got chills again when he sang it with his small band. Here is a vocalist who can sing soul, pop, country, and Christmas music with his voice working for each style; his voice hasn't lost an iota from the 1990s when the radio played his songs. If anyone gets a chance to go to this show....do it! You'll see what I mean.

I attend the John Berry Christmas show each year and have always enjoyed it. He has the most incredible voice and is so personable and relates to his audience. I thought he was less friendly this year and wondered if he wasn't feeling well. He did not talk about family as much and I missed his stories. However, the music was fabulous.Jo

John Berry has an absolutely amazing voice. Plus, he's a real person who shares his life in song.

John's amazing voice was once again on display in Kalamazoo. His Christmas music half of the program really fills you with the Christmas spirit! His rendition of the Lord's prayer and O' Holy Night were very moving. We've seen him several times at this venue and will continue to do so as long as he continues to do his holiday tour.

John Berry is one of my favorite country singers- I think I have seen him around 11 times - whenever he comes to the area I at least attempt to go see him- all around wonderful entertainer

As usual, John Berry was great. His voice is amazing, and his personality charming. His show is completely family-friendly, and his commitment to presenting the Gospel although expected, was refreshing and inspirational. My wife and I are not big country music fans, but attend John's concerts because he is such an exceptional entertainer.

Awesome concert gets better every time. We have been fans for a few years now and always have enjoyed his show. Would see John anywhere but the Kalamazoo State Theatre is a great venue.

Excellent concert! Worth every dime. Family friendly. Great entertainment for all ages. Love the music, his stories & how much he loves his wife. We go to his show every year! Man, he can sing!

It's that time of year again. A trip downtown to the State Theatre to see a one Mr. John Berry. He did not disappoint and neither did his band. Really great lot this year esp. a one Mr Kris Caldwell he was brillant. Only his 6th show with John too. Will be attending another John Berry concert this time next year. Highly recommend one check out a show at the venue too.

I have never been disappointed with any of his shows and hope it comes back agaiin net year. it is the hightlight of my year and a moment i wait for. He still gives all his has for us a th shows. Hope he is stays a round for a very long time. Your are the voice John. Thanks.

The show was perfect as always. Great music and lighting, must see. The only problem was we bought a CD at the show and when we went to play it the next day it was a blank CD! No music on it!

I cannot possibly convey my emotion via email so that anyone can understand how moving and touching this concert was. The entire band was amazing, Robin and John were amazing, the music was emotional and heartfelt. You can never go wrong attending a John Berry Concert.

We love John Berry and try to go see him as often as possible for his Christmas show. It just makes our holiday O Holy Night is our favorite We also Love the State Theater in Kalamazoo more than any other place to hear a concert ! We had a chance to meet his banjo player and drummer a short time before the show, and had a great time, really nice guys. We were able to get tickets as soon as they went on sale and had wonderful seats, second row- middle.
