Good voices. All actors were good. I did not find the opera particularly moving or beautiful.

orchestra was great..... the mother was wonderful.......I felt that the opera was dumbed down.....I would have preferred to see the original time period as Menotti wrote it.
The opera has a great story and did not need to be altered .......i think it detracted from the tension.
