Margaret was bright, witty and energetic. I enjoyed her down to earth, humility and grace. I haven't read her books but my wife has. I'm inspired to pick up one now.

Margaret Atwood's dry wit and humour was entertaining as well as enlightening. Her comments on inspiration and attitude transcend to all creative fields. Hopefully her attention to detail and clarification will influence her young audience, who seem to be seeking solutions and professional direction.

Margaret Atwood was very entertaining. She was very humorous, but also enlightening about her books. If I have any criticism, it would be that her talk could have been a little longer - not a common complaint with most speakers!

I had a wonderful evening with a wonderful author who delights as well in the spoken word as in the written word. Entertainment and education in one small package, who could ask for more?

Wow, I had a wonderful time. Ms. Atwood is engaging, thoughtful and it was a pleasure to finally meet the author who has been my favorite since 1990.
Go see her, buy one of her books and sit down to read.

As a Margaret Atwood fan for many years, I wasn't sure what to expect in this unique book tour event. It was fabulous to hear Ms. Atwood's commentary, see the characters come to life on stage and hear the hymns for myself. The auditorium was cozy. I think the most surprising aspect of the evening was the fact that Ms. Atwood is as funny in person as she is in her books. She had us laughing during the question and answer period.

Not only did the musical performance rock the house, but I was amazed at how funny and fun the whole reading was. The book was comical while being a little too close to reality for comfort!

Part of Ms. Atwood's green book tour for her latest novel, "The Year of the Flood". At the DC event, she and three student actors from The George Washington University read passages from the book. GW students also served as musicians and chorus. The latter performed hymns from the book. All very well done. And so much better than a dry reading event.
