This was my first time seeing Whoopi live. I treated my mother. I teach school in AC and recently directed our Black History month program. We did a Blacks in Wax theme, and Ms.Goldberg was one of our "notables". She was absolutely fantastic. Funny as all heck! My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. She was worth every penny. Would we go see her again? D*** tootin!

My boyfriend and I went to see Whoopi as I am a really big fan. We are both in our mid-20s and we had a great time. Our seats were second row and it was great being so close.

She is a really great entertainer!

Only down side was the hotel was so expensive we opted to drive home after the show rather than stay but were shocked to discover parking for the Tropicana was $20!! We were only there for 3 hours... So that was irritating. If you were spending a few days at the hotel, $20 for a weekend or more would be a great deal but we felt cheated. If the weather is nice parking elsewhere would be my suggestion. Our only consolation is that when we get out of the show it had snowed and the hotel garage is covered so at least we didn't have to clean snow off the car.

In any case, if you can go see Whoopi Goldberg, do it.

I admire her for her honesty and realistic view of the world....very funny and amusing , but would recommend to her to skip the Q& A session.....people were drunk and talking stupidly. I just wanted to boogie when that started.
But all in all ...a Good show.

The show was great, but gettintg into the show was horrable. They had you walking forever like cattle going down a cattle chute. The tickets were paid in advance and were not cheap. There should be a better way to get seated then the way it was handled.

Anytime a performer has to refer to written notes, there IS a PROBLEM. She started a joke and then went to something else, midway, never cam back to the joke or the PUNCHLINE. She also wasn't aware that she was in a theater. The audience is all over not just in the middle section where her friend was sitting!!! What was she thinking!!! I attend numerous comedy shows and this was the WORST performance of any comedian. Whoopi obviously just came to AC for the money, nothing more. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!

Waited for years and for our 27 Wedding anniversary actually had the once in lifetime opportunity to see her live. We spent a lot of money for us, as we found seeing Whoppi Goldberg, worth the expense.We sat in, Orchestra section row H seats 108/109. I could not have been more jaw dropping disappointed if I tried. The TROPICANA SHOWROOM , was so dramatically understaffed , that the staff was complaining out loud, otherwise I would have never known any different that it always took over two hours to be seated.
You are however; you are asking for the shows' review, which again I repeat disappointed.
It was shorter then I would have expected, I resent that she lost her place several times, and had to refer to her book. A professional comic is just that PROFESSIONAL I would have expected Whoppi Goldberg to be at the top of her game only to find out that was so not the case.
The biggest disappointment with the show was the Q&A part for the audience. We had to suffer through not real questions but people just saying over and over what fans they were. As a result she had no material in which to create jokes with.
Over all, all those around us expressed the same attitude about the show Whether they will actually review the show as honestly as they felt at the time is for anyone's guess. But we were terribly disappointed, maybe it was an off night for her, our luck as we saved for a long time to see she live and walked away frowning what a shame.

I was really looking forward to seeing this show and I and my 3 guest were ALL disappointed. I thought she would have interesting material considering her wealth of knowledge and all she spoke about was menopause and her early years of menstrual cycle! Then the last 20 minutes of the show was for the audience to ask questions however all anyone really did was talk about the last time they saw her and how much they love her, etc. The show lacked substance and barely humor. Some people left early, others in front of me never even smiled. It was short, but not so sweet. Sorry, wish I could say better things.

I loved the energy she had coming out and her unfiltered mouth is jaw dropping! I am a huge fan and was just happy to be there to see her! The only thing I did not like was the questions from the audience at the end. People did NOT ask questions but babbled on saying can you sign my ticket or telling their personal feelings of how much they love her. It quickly turned boring and boos from the audience broke out. I was in the balcony and never had a chance to get the Mic to ask a legitimate question...Then Whoopi ended the show early saying we've all sat in this hot room long enough...Good Night. I left wanting more but like I said I LOVE HER and was glad I went. The ticket price was affordable @ $45.00 per ticket I felt it was reasonable. So thinking of seeing her?? I say GO unless you are easily offended by language, sex talk, politics or religion....then I would say stay home!

I love Whoopie Goldberg and was surprised to find that at her concert she was surprisingly crude. Poopy jokes, vagina stories and overall gross things. She's so bright. I don't know why 30 minutes were used for body parts and functions.

Whoopi was very entertaining and funny. She offered her candid view on aging, men, and life in general. I laughed out loud and the audience seemed to be having a great time. The Q&A segment was a very personal touch that endeared Whoopi's already devoted fans. My wife made me go because no one would drive to Durham in freezing rain and ice. It was worth it. Because a lot of people didn't show, we were able to upgrade our seats for free. We moved from the Grand Balcony to the Orchestra section about 15 rows back from Whoopi. Needless to say it was a memorable birthday gift for my wife.
