Great show!

I've always been a Martina McBride fan, but this was the first time I'd seen her live. This was a relatively small venue and crowd, but she seemed genuinely glad to be there. Martina and her band worked through a show that was about one hour and 45 min with no breaks, and her arena-filling voice kept its punch throughout the show. I'd recommend the concert to anyone who has the chance.

I have seen Martina 7 times. I really hope to see her again when she comes to Fort wayne. I do miss her Christmas show. I see only one of hers and would love to see it again. She walked right by me and I was speachless because she is my favorite female contry singer. What am awesome voice and talent.
Your kids were good also in the Chrismas Show.

I went to a few of her concerts and will go to any that are near me. I love her music and her. She has an amazing voice and great songs. Her values are strong and her music inspires and uplifts. You will leave with a smile. My soon to be 3 year old loves her to always wants to hear Martina. She sings for all ages.

Martina was great, and her concert was well worth the price of admission. I don't understand why it wasn't better attended. I think this was the first year for the Mid-South Fair to be held in Whitehaven, and it seems to be a fine facility.. The parking situation needs to be improved.

My wife asked me to go to see this concert with her even though she knows I am not a country fan to say the least. Martina is a fantastic entertainer and the wife and I had a fabulous time. I look forward to her next concert in the Mid-South area. This young ladys voice is miraculous.

Martina McBride was great. Her show was very well put together and she has a great voice. I was really impressed with the sound management and the over all show that she put on. We were on vacation and were lucky to get seats on the floor for this show. I would recommend her show to anyone who asked.

Loved the new songs, but she did a lot of copy tunes. I can hear those at a karaoke bar. It would have been better to hear more from her new CD. I think she only sang 3 off the new album.

Opening act(s): Justin Moore has a number of good songs and he performs them very well. The problem was the volume of the sound system. It was too loud and took away from his performance. This happened last year as well at Country on Beale St. Opening act good, his act...way too loud. @

Such a powerhouse of a voice from a tiny person!! Connects with the crowd. Songs are great. Could have listened for another couple of hours to her!! Loved the songs and her stage presence is wonderful.You haven't heard anyone live until you hear Martina.

My wife and I saw Martina years ago at one of the Tunica casinos, and the show was unreal. Terrific sound; her voice was incredible (as always); and the concert hall was perfect for her type of act. I found out about the Desoto Civic Center concert through a Ticketmaster email....didn't see much local advertising (I did hear a radio commercial this morning, though......the day AFTER the event). We were disappointed to see the auditorium less than half full. I don't know if this is related to the economy, local ads, or what.....but you would think a country artist with the caliber of Martina McBride would be able to draw more than 2,000 or so fans. Also, the sound did not seem well mixed. In the opening act (Justin Moore - forgettable) the bass guitar and drums were too loud, which drowned out lyrics. In Martina's show, her voice didn't seem to dominate like it does in a smaller venue. She also mixed in quite a few cover songs, which was surprising, given the number of hits she has had on her own. Bryan Adams, Journey.....could have lived without these in place of other Martina songs. The Classic Country hit medley, though, was excellent. All in all, it was still a Martina concert, with her brilliant voice and unique ability to reach each person in her audience -- whether 200 or 2,000. We'll definitely go see her again....but hopefully in a smaller, more intimate setting.
