The opening act, Rising Sun, was unknown to me or my much more knowledgeable daughter. They played for an hour, which was not long enough. Midway through the hour, the lead singer and the drummer switched places and music styles--a great touch because both were excellent talents.
My daughter knew the next act, but to me they sound like like a sorry garage band. I don't remember their name.
Then Elephant Man came onstage and made the last sorry hour worth the wait. He puts super energy into his performance, totally capturing the whole house. We also went backstage after the show. Somehow, my son-in-law talked us into meeting him; probably because he is also from Jamaica. Elephant Man was just as generous a host as he is a performer.
