I grew up all my life listening to Enrico Macias. I made it my business to learn all I can about him from the time he was fifteen years old to present. He is my favorite singer in the entire world. To me, no other singers in any languages can ever come close to Enrico Macias. He is second to none.

I am very diverse, and multicultural. I collect and listen to music from almost all over the world without any prejudice. I like and enjoy many, many artists. But, none of them give me the same passion, or captivate me like Enrico Macias. He is forever my number one.

Great show! Everybody was ready to have fun with Enrico!
as a messenger of peace in the world he sang in french, english, arabic, ladino, yiddish, hebrew!!!

This international star's infrequent appearance in NYC was eagerly awaited by an audience steeped in his music. Hardly a person at this event was not singing along to the incredible string of songs that no doubt most remembered from their younger days. We were also treated to a selection of music from a new album that broke some new ground by combining Ashkenazic influences with his standard repertoire of Sephardic and Middle Eastern melodies. Enrico had the audience in the palm of his hand and did everything to embrace us all with his message of unity and warmth. If you have a chance to see this international legend, grab it, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic show. Great songs from this great singer. One remark: One important song was missing: "Enfants de tous pays".....very important in a city like NYC.

While it was an adoring audience, Enrico Macias gave a beautiful and heartwarming audience responding with and appreciating the love. He sang many of his best songs engaging the audience and showcasing his guitar skills - what a wonderful international musician. He gave a great performance.

Enrico was magnificent, charming and crowd pleasing. From his first song, with no breaks throughout the performance, he had the audience singing, clapping and even dancing in the aisles. His music pleased all of the ethnic backrounds from the Middle East and Europe mostly French and Spanish speaking origins. As an American born man, I was also jumping to his "beat". We eagerly await his next visit to the New York area.

Loved the concert. Enrico has such a beautiful voice. You are treated with large wide open doors. A full Bar and a place to mingle amongst friends. Then the concert started and we wished it never stopped. Just could not get enough.

Enrico Macias is still one of my favorite singer when it comes to mediterranean music. I have been listening to his music since the late 50's and 60's. I grew up listening to his records ( LP'S ) in Algeria, even in schools, they used to play his music and songs, since he was very popular. Despite all the criticism, all the negative people have to say about him, I still believe he is one of the best entertainer, he engages the audience and get them to sing with him, plays all the good songs from the past and present and it is so nice to see everybody in the audience sing with him, dance to his music, at the end of the show, everybody is walking out of the Theater singing and dancing like the show is still going on. You never feel like the show has ended, since I bought his CDpack and his DVD , so I, too can take it in my car and listen to it while driving home. I don't mix music with politics. Despite all the bad comments about him on you tube, he is a wonderful singer and he makes people happy with his music, but if GOD cannot make everybody happy, how can Enrico make them happy.? You never can satisfy everybody, always there is someone unhappy who has to complain about something or someone. That is Reality! Thank you for the opportunity to share and give my opinion. I wish they allow him to go at least once to visit his native hometown. The Amazing thing, is that in Los Angeles, People from all parts of the Middle East, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan and the list goes on, do business together and dinners, lunches together with Jewish people and have a good time. why can't they have peace and live like they do in USA? I am for peace and I love International music.
