Favorite moment: I loved "Dodger", "In Flanders Fields", and "One Sweet Morning" especially. "Shenandoah" and "The Boatman's Dance" were also wonderful. @

Thomas Hampson commands the stage! He is passionate about the American Song Project and that comes through when he sings. From the full booming baritone to the barest whisper of his falsetto, he was in total control. The songs were by turn funny, poignant, somber, and even heartbreaking. I was thrilled to see how far he had come since our college days! I hope he comes back to Portland more often.
