This event was a big disappointment. First off he comes on stage for about 15 minutes and sings nothing. No preview of new tracks. Then dj starts playing some old songs of Brian. Then he spends the rest of the night in VIP. I actual got to meet and get a pic with him. Brian was real arrogant. He has lost a fan in me. Message to Brian Mcknight remember that your fans put you where you are at.

This was my 2nd year seeing him and I would see him year after year. He is such a talented muscian. His show is long and he does a lot of the singing. Most artist today use a lot of filler activity in their shows so they don't have to sing/perform as long. Brian is high quality. It's great that he brings his sons along to perform. It's so important for young black males to have positive role models and outlets for their talent. This shows a tender side of Brian which only adds to his persona. He is genuine and a wonderfully talented artist/musician.
I would definitely recommend his show to anyone.

I've been to album release parties before... and at the Hiro Ballroom too... and the performer actually performed.
What a huge letdown... i know i wasn't the only one disappointed.

I am really disappointed that I waisted my time attending this event. I could have went home and been with my family and not be tired and groggy now at work from wasting my time and money on such nonsence! The show starting time as stated on my ticket stub said 7:30 pm. Mr. McKnight didn't show up til 9:17 pm and didn't hum not one tune. They played songs from his album and he goes over to the rsvp section and begins posing for pics and signing autographs. I could have listened to snippetts on itunes!!! Really was dissapointed and will never attend such an event again!!!!

Brian McNight and his two sons were amazing. I will go again when he comes back to town, however, the event was disrupted by the loud base from Casino music echoing over Brian's music. Emerald Queen needs to do a better job of managing this so their concerts are not impacted negatively.

This was by far the best concert my wife and I have ever been to! He's been performing for well over a decade and is still a phenomenal showman. Even if you've never heard him sing or you're not a huge R&B fan, you should go to see him live if the opportunity presents itself, as he will surely never disappoint. He gives so much of himself to the crowd during his show and his love for performing for others shines through. Top-notch performance from an extraordinary artist, who now has his sons performing with him... Worth way more than what you'll pay to see him, and definitely recommended for couples.

show was really good. He was very entertaining, even pulled out a few jokes. He sang a majority of his old stuff. The man can sing though, very few people can sing like he can - gave me some goose bumps.
His sons are artists trying to make it in the industry and he brought them to on tour. They are talented!

This man is amazing! He never fails to deliver a show that leaves fans wanting more. I hope he continues coming to Washington...and more often! I hate waiting a year! Luckily we have the radio stations and tv shows. Love your musical feel and flow.

The show was really slow. I wanted Brian to quit doing all of his jokes and runs and just sing. For a guy who has 13 albums he sang maybe 12 songs. His base player was great, I wish that Brian would have introduced his band and let them do a solo. I think every band that I have seen has always at least given their band the credit they deserve. It really made me walk away from the show thinking that Brian is very arrigant. Even said though he is still a great artist, I just would want to ever see him in concert.

Great show! Brian McKnight was wonderful, and so were his sons...very talented! The EQC accommodations were not so good. Other than that, great show.

I saw Brian Mcknight about 7 years ago when he was in Seattle with Tyrese was his opening act. Brian put on a great show that night last night it was memorable. I was expecting the same type of show with new songs but all he was out doing was promoting his new talk show on Saturday nights at 10pm and his kids act. I don't think I paid to see his kids or to get told to see a talk show but I guess I was wrong. He did not perform with a lot of musical instruments this time as well he was just showing off his vocal skills again and again. I get it your voice will do what you want when you want. Sometimes its good to just do at least one song they way you put it on the album. What do I know I just pay to watch I don't perform. I don't think I would go to another show of his or promote his show unless I heard good reviews otherwise.

Still sexy and talented Brian McKnight was a little disappointing last night. Perhaps it was the two women talking non-stop or the fact that it was so hard to see from the back.
Brian forgets that we want to hear the songs that made him famous, not the audience.
It was a treat to see that he has raised two very talented sons who will soon be on the radio as well.
I show fell short for me, sorry to say.

I sat in my seat an found myself amazed that Brian McKnight, one of my favorite artists, was not only standing before me singing so many of my favorite songs...But he was hitt'n it! Every note was perfect. He was "ON" all night! He not only met my expectations he went beyond them. It was almost emotional as I listened to him give the audience his soul. When he brought his boys up it felt good to know that he trusted them with "his" spotlight and us with the support they needed to stand next to their dad and BLOW US AWAY! What a bonus!
He then stayed, after giving us what appeared to be all 100% of himself on that stage, and signed his cd's and posed for pictures with kindness and graciousness.
I told him that there were not many events that I will remember for the rest of my life, but thanked him for being a part of this one!
I will see his show every time he comes to town! You can't get enough pure, true, effortless talent to uplift you! Thank you!

Without question -- one of the most fantastic concerts I've had the pleasure of seeing in-person; entertaining; energetic; an explosive personaility and a voice able to trump live what most strive (and often fail) to achieve in a studio. Brian's lost none of his charisma, sex-appeal or raw talent. The introduction of his children and their brief performance was also a lovely addition. And in full recognition of that fact that I'm repeating myself - WOW, what a magnificent voice... and the personality to boot.

Brian was incredible!!! He has such a voice, such a powerful and fun presence. From the moment he came out, he was total entertainment!!!!!! Loved his (2) sons joining him, also very talented young men. We were in the back view section...too close to the bar and had lots of noise competing with Brian's singing...would jump immediately next time and buy up front if we come to the EQ again.. Forget that some people with very loud voices love to talk through the entire program....ugh!! But Brian McNight was pure delight to watch, listen to on that stage......he is incredible!!!!!!

This concert was one of the best I've ever been to. The audience was mature, for the most part, which made it enjoyable. The venue was good, except for the smokiness. But the best part was Brian himself. What an amazing performer. I've been a fan for at least 10 years but I've never seen him perform. I will return to see him over and over. The show was fun, sexy and soulful. Thank you Brian!
