Placido Domingo, the orchestrra, the soprano, the dancer, and the Marachi band were all superb! HOWEVER, we have never attended a classical concert, opera, or symphony where people continue to be seated while the performers are performing. Those actions are extremely annoying to those already seated as well as very rude to the performers. They can be quickly seated between numbers---BUT NEVER WHILE PEOPLE ARE PERFORMING.
Also, there were times when an extremely bright white light was pointed diretly toward the audience and I, as well as others, had to put on sunglasses to even stand sitting there.
Domingo was more than amazing!! he sounded as well as he did when we first saw him in Houston nearly 30 years ago. He is a phenomenol performer with an extremely kind heart; that combination is so very, very rare You know you have sat in the presence of an extremely multi-talented master when you have been in the presence of Placido Domingo.
