What a great group to feature for Valentine's Day! These young men are truly entertaining. They played to and with the audience all eve and really gave us our money's worth! As an older couple, my husband & I are sometimes disappointed at the quality or lack thereof of some of the entertainers out there today,but these guys didn't let us down. We loved them!
Also amazing was lead singer. Lil G, giving us a taste of his instrumental abilities during a break, borrowing Marshall Badger's guitar & "tearin' it up".

Excellent show! I saw Silk twice within 6 months, and they had enough variations in their set that I did not feel like I had seen the same show.

Also, the guys WORKED the crowd and were very approachable after the show despite demands for their attention from multiple directions. I definitely recommend you see them live if you're a fan!

I was really impressed with the Throwback Jam. I was a little disappointed to hear H-Town would not perform, but I enjoyed Public Annoucement, the replacement. The whole concert was a time for me to appreciate the acts that were still together. Most groups still had exciting moves and smooth voices. I especially enjoyed performances by the Rude Boys and Silk. I almost forgot some songs, as I have them on tape and not CD or MP3. I had a great time and would enjoy an opportunity to attend a concert like that again.

It was an awesome show that did not disappoint. I enjoyed all of the artists. It was great to see them all in action. Shai has 2 new members and they still sound great. They sound great and I cannot wait to hear more from them. Garfield was hot as usual. Men at Large did their thing. Gemini represents for Chicago. H-Town is still great (R.I.P. Dino). Nobody can do "Knockin' Da Boots" like H-Town!!! The Rude Boys.........all they had to sing for me was Written All Over Your Face and Are You Lonely For Me anything else is a bonus.

Next...what can I say? I LOVE Next. RL was hot. Their energy is off the chain between them. RL is very talented and sang some songs that he wrote....like Jaheim's Just In Case and Storm (Forecast) by Jamie Foxx. i love both of those songs, but did not know that he wrote them. He was so damn hot when he sang those songs.

Silk was incredible and they sound great together, but Lil' G is my guy!! They sang most of their hits and then some. Brilliant performance by them all and great showmanship. I want to go see them with a little more time for them to perform. They are still hot! Lil'G doing one handed push ups while singing and hitting all the high notes, riffs and runs was AMAZING!!

It was cool. The groups only sang like three songs a piece which was great. However I expected more from Silk the shows headliner. Also I felt like Public Announcement should not have opened they were too good for a opening spot where as Next who only has like two hits could have been the opening act. Then the whole radio guys coming out being corny was not cool at all should have been a comedian and the poet sucked! But overall the show was decent and I just suggest that it comes togther more smoothly and really look at the acts more closely to put on the best show possible!

The concert was a thumbs up. I was in the front row and received a fair amount of attention from the artist. RL has buffed up to say the leaast. His brother "T" is also a cutie. Silkk did the darn thing! Lil G and OMG Jon Jon....too much! The other 2 guys were great as well. Rude Boys came with....not sure who the short guy was that was in the group. Men at Large definitely held their own. Public Announcement gave a good effort as well. I would like to see more concerts with throwback artist I'm a lover of 90's music. Too bad the women were hating because i was on the front row and was gettin much love from the artist. One girl asked, "what are you doing to have them keep coming to you?" i had to tell her it was swagga. wish they would have had the after party in chicago and not gary. I was reluctant to travel through gary w/o my security. Really missed H-Town not being there. Oh yeah, Garfield from Shai still looks great! Shai didn't let me down. Rude Boys had everyone on their feet with Written All over your face.

First of all one of the scheduled groups didn't appear (H-Town). The Most number of songs any group sung was four. The sound was distorted & none of the groups even had a live band. The all had tracks played for them some even with background singing. I'm 49 years old & I have been to hundreds of concerts in my lifetime & this one was the worst one I have ever attended. The promoters 106.3 & Discount liquor should know better.

I hope all is well with H-Town because that's all that was missing on saturday. All the acts still sounded the same from 15yrs ago. Public Announcement, Rude Boys, Men @ Large,Next(don't know what happened to the 3rd member), Shai, and Silk all got down. Great Anniversary weekend for my wife & I. She lost her voice screaming over Silk lol

The concert was excellent. The men looked very nice. Well dressed. All of the groups were great. I love silk and they were off the chain. I was so glad that Lil G was there. Their last concert in Chicago, he wasn't with them. I had a great time.

The concert as a whole was a great night of entertainment. My wife and I regularly attend events such as this one and in our opinion, they delivered. We were looking forward to seeing H-Town perform but Public Announcement was a welcome substitute. The only complaint that I have and it's more of a question is why are the drinks so expensive. Depending on what drink you choose the prices are outrageous, especially considering that the same drinks are two to four dollars cheaper inside the lounge or bar of the hotel itself. Other than that my wife and I enjoyed the concert and hopefully will be attending many more in the future.

For all the people who thought the 90's R&B groups were "washed up" and thought the concert would be a joke, you missed out on some great talent! The guys still have it and their vocals were on point. Definitely a croud pleaser for the ladies even with H-Town being cancelled, it was a good show overall even though I was really looking forward to H-Town.

The show was very good. All the performers had great energy on stage and sounded great. My biggest complaint was Next and lead singer RL. They were the second to last performers. The promoters were telling him he was over his time and he kept saying he didn't care. Instead of leaving the stage because he ran out of songs to sing, he sang the song Wifey twice and started to sing songs he had written for other artist which caused him to go over time. Because of this, Silk had to cut their performance extremely short and not sing a lot of their hit songs that I wanted to here. Silk was gracious at the end and thanked all the other performers and left the stage after sing, Meeting in My Bedroom.
