made the drive across the desert to see BNL at Primm. the sound was GREAT in the arena. ed worked 3 different mics spread across the stage. never once thought "this is a steve song". it all just worked. they are "BNL" songs. this was my 38th show (i think). concert life slows when you get married and have a little baby. ed did a quick meet-n... Read More-greet after the show. (TY ED!) they sang a good variety with heavy STUNT songs. i was especially happy with "Life, in a Nutshell." wore my Rock Spectacle T-Shirt (an oldie!) the show reminded me of earlier BNL shows. the jazzy "Blame It On Me" was a major highlight/moment. jim was playing all over the stage too. energy was high and the overall feeling was very comfortable. nice acoustic "For You". amazing harmonies. when kevin broke out the accordian - i was hoping for "Straw Hat" ... maybe next show. They played $1000000 - hadnt heard that live for a long time. No Brian Wilson or What a Good Boy ... I think I might have missed Steve though on WAGB. so its ok. here's what they did sing (not in order though): Blame It On Me; If I Had a $1,000,000; Life, in a Nutshell; Old Apartment; One Week; Its All Been Done; Leave, Alcohol; Who Needs Sleep; Never is Enough; Too Little Too Late; Pinch Me; Go Home; Falling For the First Time; Maybe Katie; For You; Testing 1, 2, 3; Get In Line, and a couple new songs due out in march. (wow - no songs from BLAM album, hmmm.) Must be hard to a choose a set list from such a huge catalog of songs. overall: great show. (awesome seats (dead center - 7 rows back, great lighting & crystal clear sound, nice mix of old and new songs, funny improv stuff. like the old days where you can meet them after the show too. great to reconnect with the fans.) other highlights: winning at three card poker, riding the casino's "suspect maintenance" rides, and being in the middle of NOWHERE in the desert. (primm is NOT vegas.) my profile pic is the cell phone pic of me and ed. cant wait for next album and its tour. see you then! - heather
