I waited 38 years to see this band again. Charlie Gearhart & Co. did not disappoint! It was awesome!!! My wife (who is 10 years younger than me--think about that, she was 9 the last time I saw GCS) got Goosed at the Rythym Room, and I think she liked it! As good as the music is on CD, I had been telling her for years that it just had to be experienced live. Now she understands.

These guys had an incredible sound. It was jazzy, bluegrass with a touch of rock and roll. Add to that they are each incredible musicians. They really get the audience moving, They do mostly original music, and I don't understand why they are not nationally acclaimed. They also did a few standards, one of which was the "Orange Blossom Special" which was the best ever.

Goosecreek Symphony is a Fantastic band live, and even though the Rhythm Room I thought was a bit too small for them, I had the best time. The sound was amazing and the band never sounded better.
