Musician's musicians. DT was perfect, been to 5 DT concerts and each time they raise the bar. Too damn good. Zappa, not a biggest fan of his father's music, but ZPZ were amazing musicians. If you appreciate great musicians, can't get any better than DT and ZPZ.

I had never been to the Buell before and was really impressed. What a first-class venue.
We missed the first two acts, but made it in time to see all of Zappa Plays Zappa. Dweezil's band was very fun to watch and he seems like a pretty humble (but very talented) person.
But I was really there for Dream Theater. I own most of their studio albums and their three latest concert DVDs, but never had I seen them live (even though I've been a fan since 1992). I went in with very high expectations and was still blown away by the performance and musicianship of the band. The house mix was good and everything sounded as it should--we were in the center, second row of the balcony. The stage show and lighting were just awesome and complemented the mood of the music very well.
