I have seen Billy twice before and thought he was hilarious. I came out from the concerts with aching jaws and sides from laughing so much. This time however, it was awful, I barely laughed at all. He regurgitated some old jokes from years ago, he was crude but not in a funny way, he babbled and a lot of time made no sense; he still did his signature laughing at his own jokes thing, but it was too much and so annoying - very disappointing! We often say singers should know when to retire and I think comedians should too if they cannot keep up with the times and create new routines. Will never see him live again.

While the evening had much promise, Billy lost his place too many times and not only did that detract from the performance but it was visibly bothering him which further reduced to entertainment factor.

This was the worst I have ever seen Billy. He was incoherent, rude and plain obscene. I am no prude but he was over the top with his bits about how people with strokes speak and how special needs people look funny. I remembered some of this kind of stuff from middle school.

billy still has it after all these years,seen him live 3 times over the space of 25 years and he always makes me laugh,billy used some of his older material in this one,but still delivers it brilliantly as he did back then and always does,a must see,i would go back tomorrow.

Been a big fan for decades. Last saw him in NYC a couple of years ago. Flew up from Atlanta just for this show. Great storyteller, fantastic one-liners.
But, and it's a big but, there was too much old material. Much of it I had heard the last time in NYC. Perhaps Billy doesn't realize that it is one thing to repeat material on his UK tour, where the audience may see him frequently and just have a bus journey home, but here in the states avid fans have flown in to town from all over. The guy next to me had flown in from LA! So we are talking about a net cost of maybe $500 per ticket, considering flights, rooms etc.
We love you Billy, but please, no more vegemite, no more stroke finale.

Don't waste your money unless you are a teenager or immature enough to laugh at someone curse for the sake of cursing. It sounded like a college kid who finally had the right to curse and just did it to hear himself. He laughed more at his own "jokes" than the audience did.
His 20 minute bit making fun of his father's inability to speak after having a stroke and only be able to utter a grunt that sounded to Billy like the "f" word put me over the edge and I just couldn't sit there anymore. I walked out waiting for the Billy Connolly that was always so funny. He didn't show up. The one that showed up must have been on drugs or something. It was pathetic at times. His other big bit making fun of special ed kids and the different problems they had actually made me feel sorry for Billy.
Such a talent, and such a waste of time and money. There was some funny stuff in there but the awful distasteful stuff is all I can remember.

Full disclosure, I like Billy Connelly so he was really preaching to the choir as far as I'm concerned. He's been doing observational comedy so well, for so long, and with such irreverence. Nothing is sacred. If you're easily offended, buyer beware, as his shows have some ripe language.....but would you expect anything less from an ex-dock worker from Glasgow?

I've waited a life time to see Billy its sad to say but I can take it off my bucket list now...but keep a look out for more gigs. I grew up watching Billy on Tv back in Ireland and he is my No. 1 comic of all time. I've watched his World Tour series and every video he's put out he is dearly loved by all in the british Isles and I will always promote him. My wife (USA) proudly converted to the church of Billy a long time ago and suprised me with the tckets for this show. Best night out i've had in a long time despited the 2 hours in traffic trying to get through the Lincoln Tunnel.....Connolly... Ye Jessie!!!!!

Great show and the beacon Theater and the staff were really helpful, only downside were the charges for drinks etc, that said all theaters are the same.

He was excellent. So insightful, and the random meanderings are priceless. Could have done without folks in the audience (in front of us of course) jumping up every 20 minutes for trips to the bar (and presumably the loo). Also I found it offensive that folks were taking photos and no member of the theatre staff did anything about it.

Im not like most of the people that ware at the show.I m not Scottish or Irish but Polish and loved the show. For many years i fallow Mr Connolly his acting and live shows that is and try to see his live shows any time he comes to NY area listen to his Interviews on the radio like Oppy and Anthony show on satelaite radio where he could be his self.

I have seen Billy Connolly in concert 4 or 5 times. This had to have been the worst ever. For the money that he is being paid he shouldn't not be rehashing the same old material. This was embarrassing. There were 6 of us which was quite a bit of money. There were a lot of people in our section that left half way through the performance. The stories that he told were so long that your ADD kicked in. As a fellow Scot, I have to say I was extremely disappointed and I could not wait for him to say he was done.

I've been into Billy Connolly since I first saw him on TV in England around 1985 but this is the first time I've seen him live. Really liked the performance though some of the jokes were old like the one about the woman saying, "you can't get there from here." Never the less, the performance was great and I would go again.

THE SOUND LEVELS WERE TOO LOW- WE COULDN'T HEAR THE SHOW- I ASKED USHERS TWICE- THEY SAID MR CONNOLLY HAD CONTROL OF THE VOLUME AND IT WAS OUT OF THEIR HANDS- (I'm sure he had no trouble hearing the Dolly Parton Band in Glasgow last year at the SEC I saw him in the 8th row...
We traveled from the West to take friends to see him- no one could properly hear him- $255.00 down the drain.
