Much to my surprise, I found Englebert Humperdink to be thoroughly entertaining. From the minute the show opened up with a video collage of his older moments when he was on all the old classic talk shows right up to moment he entered the stage. Age has not slowed this man down and be continues to 'woo' the ladies in the audience. His set list was comprised of some identifiable covers of modern songs to his timeless classics. Still in between belting out these hits, he found time to make some jokes; which actually were quite funny and fitting to his personalitiy. I can see how this man sold over 150 million records worldwide and still holds a place among his female fans while still selling tickets to his shows. The audience was filled with a mixed crowd of young, middle aged and older fans. Me personally... I was entertained and he kept my interest the entire show. I even found myself singing along to his songs. A true entertainer and at last to say there is not many of these artists left with us today. The tickets were purchased to treat my mother whom suddenly passed away before the show, so my sister in her place and we raised a glass to her and her favorite artist. She would of been proud. I know she would enjoyed herself and would of been tickled pink by his stage presence. My sister was actually brought to tears a few times hearing him sing the song from love story and a couple others. I actually had a chuckle by this that here this 70 something year old man was bringing my 50 something sister to tears.

All and all, It turned out to be a great night and both of us enjoyed ourselves.

My wife and I attended the show in Bethlehem, PA on October 10th. We expected corny, with some good music, and somewhat lacking vocals.

What we got was the most incredible and best entertainment over an hour and 45 minutes. Engelbert's voice was spot on, though restrained in a few songs, but that was only to save it for later, where it was lacking NOTHING! He hit the high notes, and just soared!

He told jokes, he danced, he interacted with the band, and you could tell he was really proud of the work each of the talented musicians was doing. The show was really well done, and definitely not to be missed if you are a fan and get the chance.

I really enjoyed the show and so did my husband. I grew up listening to his music and he is truly one of the best crooners of all time. Now, I can say that I have seen his show.

Fourth time we've seen Engelbert and he hasn't lost his voice! Or his sense of humor. Started loving him in the early 60's and he is still awesome to listen to when he is 77 yrs.old. His backup band is incredible and they keep the show young and fresh.

I've been going for years with my mom to see Engelbert and every time I am blown away by what a fantastic performer he is and how amazing his voice still sounds.
I highly recommend his shows to anyone who enjoys 2 hours of entertainment!

For starters, the UCPAC is a wonderful venue! All the seats have great views!!

My sister and I took our Mother to the Engelbert Humperdinck concert as her birthday gift. The three of us had seen him once before about 7 years ago. My Mom, has probably seen him about 10 times! lol He is a wonderful entertainer with a great sense of humor, especially about how he is aging! It is refreshing to see an entertainer not trying to act like they are 30 again. And it's amazing how strong his voice is! He sounds just like he did years ago. If you enjoy his music, you will love this concert.

At first I did not know what to except. I was pleasantly surprised, he still has it. His voice is still amazing and he did not try to act like the sex symbol he was back in the day. He made a few jokes about it which were funny. He just sang beautifully which is what we wanted Great venue ucpac, just wish the seats were more comfy.

We saw Engelbert in New Jersey on April 7, 2013. What a great show. As usual it was an amazing show and he is a great entertainer. I have been his fan for 46 years now and will remain his fan forever. I request him to come back every year.

As I reflect on the performance of this extraordinary talent, I find myself smiling and saying things like " where does he hide the batteries". The energy is that of a thirty year old.

Besides being a phenomenon of vocal ability he proved once again that he is truly a nice man, as demonstrated by a handshake he gave to a twelve year old fan who ambled to the stage, in the middle of a song. I for one was touched by this warm gesture.

It's hard to find a flaw in his show. He knows and loves his audience and gives them a great ride on those soaring notes he still

Tickets were purchased as birthday gifts for my mother, aunt and 95 year old grandmother who all have April birthdays.
Mom has been seeing Englebert perform since the late 60's.
This, according to her, was his best performance ever. His voice never sounded stronger or clearer. It was quite simply, the best night of her life. It was better than the night she fell in love, her wedding night and the night of my birth.
Damn you, Mr. Humperdink!

This was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised when he came out how great he looked. You would never know his real age...!! Still sexy as anything!! Bought the Romance CD afterwards, and now wish I would have gotten a few more. I will, for sure. I'd even like to see him again. Just wish the show would have been longer. Thinking about catching it again in Reno!!

Englebert is a once-in-a-lifetime event to not miss.

The good: taking off his tie & coat, stripped down to his navel, shirt wise. Ahhh.
Can still belt out the songs.
A good 2 hours of entertainment
Pleasantly interweaving a bit of history with some old & new songs
Inviting the crowd to sing along
Future plans revealed.
Some freebies too.

The bad: the tech team was not on board. They missed the timing on one song and made it distracting, not well done.
Old vids were grainy when blown up to the big screen.
Should have had him on big screen the entire time he was performing. They weren't set up for that.
Ushers should have removed the rowdies.
Ushers should have removed the people blocking views.

Other than that, was a great concert. Thumbs up.

It was amazing to spend the time with Engelbert.....brought back fantastic memories when I was a kid which I had already forgotten. I was extremely disappointed that he was on stage for 1hr 10mins.........I could have spent 3 with him........but he is getting up there so I am thankful for what I got! You still have it!
