My wife and I attended this concert at the Bishop Arts Theater Center in Dallas.
First of all, we loved the venue, the intimacy of the setting. This was indeed a memorable experience.

We had actually never heard of Eric Darius before the concert. Well, we certainly know who he is now. Wow! Eric Darius is a 'Baaaddd Dude!' He was nothing short of amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed his performance and really marveled at his mastery of the sax and how he interacted with the audience. Can't wait to see him again.

As for Jeff Golub, I have all of his CDs. I just love his style and the music he makes. He is a true artist in every sense of the word. Needless to say we likewise thoroughly enjoyed Jeff's performance and can't wait to see him again. He was amazing.

And lets not forget the incredible musicians that Jeff and Eric had backing them up. Man! They were awesome! I wanna see them again as well.

Both Jeff Golub and Eric Darius were outstanding as well as the group of area musicians who performed with them. There were no egos here, just great music played for true jazz fans. I loved the small venue because it allowed the artists to get down close and personal with the audience.

EPIC - This is my 3rd and I will be going to the 4th in Nov. Best Music Event in Dallas. I cannot believe more people do not go.
