I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. I had not seen George Benson in over 15 years and I was not disappointed. He was outstanding. The crowd had a mix of many generations and everyone was on their feet.
He played non-stop for almost 2 hours giving us the collection of hits like Breezin, This Masquerade, Give me The Night, Tequila, and everything I remember from the good old days. His encore of On Broadway had just about everyone at Twin River Event Ctr. dancing with him at the front of the stage. I can only describe the night as "outstanding" and George Benson is a "must-see".

It was a great show filled with all the old great songs I remember well, plus some new ones that were really good. He had 3 members of the band that have been with him from way back, which made the concert even more special.

Grew up hearing George Benson, loved being able to see him while in Tahoe on vacation. He's definitely still got it. Everyone wished he could have played all night, he has so many hits and so much talent! We all loved it! Aloha from Hawaii, George!

George played at my club in Lahaina, Maui in 1980. I admired his considerable musical abilities before that and all these years since. This concert reinforced that admiration. My only adverse comment would be that his backup group, while excellent, were, at times, too loud and stepped on his playing/singing. I may be prejudiced on that issue since, when he did play at my club, his only backup was Lonnie Smith, and it was a very small night club, an intimate setting, in contrast to the 800+ seats at the MontBleu showroom. That aside, George is a rare talent. I do hope he comes back to Lake Tahoe.

George Benson and band was unforgettable! They are true artist! The venue at Mont Bleu had perfect acoustics and there was not a bad seat in the house. My husband was disappointed that George did not play The World is a Ghetto but all in all it was a night we will always remember!!

I have been wanting to see George Benson since the 70's and it was a great show! MontBleu was a great venue, because it is that old showroom format. There is not a bad seat in the house.

Great show. He is still incredible. The seating wasn't very good, and when you bought the tickets, it wasn't clear where your seats were. I would have liked the opportunity to get better seats that I noticed were available and/or empty.

George Benson was awesome, absolutely awesome. Talk about someone who has delivered an exceptionally fine performance time and time again! However, he truly outdid himself October 20. He played every one of my favorite songs with a style only he possesses. He is truly an amazing musician and performer.
He must come to New England again and again. He has a huge devoted fan base here. Every one was thrilled to see him live. Tell him don't wait so long to come back!
I have been seeing him in concert since the Concerts on the Common in Boston in early 1980. I have every album, CD and tape ever made.

I attended a George Benson show at Twin River in Lincoln, RI and it was a real treat! It has been many years since the days we would play the Breezin' album (yes, real vinyl back in the day) several times each day. The show really brought me back in time!
The only disappointment was that he didn't sing some of our favorites (which were not hits on the radio). But, you always know when you go to a concert that you won't hear EVERY song you love by the band playing!
If you ever get a chance to see George Benson live, don't hesitate, grab those tickets up the second you can!

I was probabbly 10 yrs old when I starting listening to George Benson and never did I think I would have the oppty to see him ever in concert. It is rare these days that great musicians such as Benson have concerts in the New England area. Was is it a great show!!!! Both Benson and his band were on point. The crowd loved it! The music took me back in time...big ups to twin river event center for holding the concert...

George played the guitar like a true artist, he sang in his deep and rich tone; but most of all he had us standing, clapping and dancing. Backed by a 5 piece band he played and sang for two hours. If you like good music, haul your butt to see George Benson. He is well worth the money.

Me and my husband went to this concert hoping that it would be good, my husband saw George over 20 years ago and always been a huge fan. The venue was small and felt very intimate. We had great seats close to stage and were not over cramped in our seats, not that we stayed in them long. When George took to the stage the air was electric. His voice was fa nominal. He looked great and totally connected with the audience. Many people including us was up and dancing in front of the stage. The night was totally fantastic.

This was a great show at Twin Rivers. George was playing and also singing as if he was back 20 years ago. and never missed a beat. His voice was very strong and clear and his playing was better than ever.
If I had to say there was any downside to this show it was that he did not play all his hits and played a few more instrumentals which left me saying if only he had played those few extra hits that we all know the show would have been a perfect 10
That aside I would go see him again if he were to come back to RI
