We saw WW years ago in Jackson and really enjoyed the show. This one was even better. As always, Webb was very laid back--even walking across the stage before his set to oversee set-up, and, during the break, taking time to visit with old friends and newcomers alike. But the real thrill was the swamp-a-delic rock from across his career. Heard a lot of favorites, and enjoyed his stage presence, my wife especially liking that ever-moving left leg of his. Great band (it was easy to tell they had history together), great venue, one of the best shows I've ever seen. If you have the chance, go see "the last of the full grown men". You'll have a blast!

Webb Wilder was red hot and right on last night at Mojos! Always a high energy group, even to a small venue, they play big! Lots of guitar, catchy lyrics, fun rock and roll. Long time favorites like Never Too Small to hit the Big Time, Human Cannonball, Loud Music, and Tough it Out fit together nicely with If You're Looking for a Fool and Too Cool for Love. Seemingly, the charismatic front man was diggin' the scene, too, commenting that "Mojo's is a real joint!". Come again, Webb, Columbia will see to it the band is well supplied with brews next time!
