The crowd was ready for the second night of musical magic at Pennsylvania's Penn's Peak venue.
As a lover of multiple music genres, it is clear to me that there is something enticingly unique about the energy that is generated within the Ratdog experience..They rocked the house bringing the crowd into a state of Grateful contentment, leaving plenty of smiling faces for the ride home.
Bob Weir and Ratdog did not disappoint the fans as they came onstage to join Jackie Greene's opening act band, playing a spectacular Scarlet Begonias into Sugaree.
Then Ratdog began their first set with a jam leading into a smooth and sensual version of Here Comes Sunshine. With the band nice and tight, Bob Weir looked luminous as ever with his sparking playful eyes lighting up the stage. Fans saturated themselves yet again with the sounds, scents and colorful tapestry, blending people from all walks of life into a pool of pure bliss! As always, the interplay between band and fans created an atmosphere of wild possibilities and enduring love. Why? While the reality world around us may sometimes deal some harsh blows to our psyche, with logistics and red tape issues seemingly running the show, the prospects of true peace found in honoring our similarities and differences ring loud and clear at a Ratdog show.. May the music live on.
