Great show, but a bit short. First band I seen in a casino, so maybe the bands are told to cut it short, not sure. Anyways back to the Hip. Gordon is always entertaining but he was in an extra rare form for this show. Excellent show!!

WOW! I never get tired of seeing the Hip in concert. They put on a show that is full of energy and is never boring. The Landmark Theatre is a great place to see any show. Not one bad seat in the house. Great time, as always!! HIPHIPHIP - listen to them and fall in love . . .

Favorite moment: The first twenty minutes, then it got too hot, went to get a drink and pretty much the show was over when I returned. @

Setlist: Sort of disappointing in that it was pretty much the same as Artpark (less about 10 songs). I wish they would have changed it up a bit. @

The Hip sounded great as usual but they played way too short of a show for the money we paid. We saw them at Artpark in June and the show was a hour longer and the tickets were at leat $20 cheaper. I wouldn't recommend seeing a show at Seneca Allegany Casino to anyone. It was extremely hot inside, you can't bring beverages in and when you go outside the auditorium to get a drink you wait a half hour to get a beverage and end up missing that much of the show.

As always, the band was excellent and provided great entertainment. This was the 6th time I've seen the Hip over the years, and the first time they didn't play "Nautical Disaster", my favorite. Aside from that, it was great! I think this was the first time I heard them play "Fiddler's Green" and "Last of the Uncut Gems". That was nice.

Best Hip show I've seen ! (out of dozen shows or so)

Gordie crawling over the seats was great.

My seats were in the upper level, sound was not the best but it was good enough.

Show started on time and lasted well over 2 hours. Sitting in the left loge, I thought the sound was fair at best. Overall performance of the Hip was excellant. One of the top 2 or 3 live performances I have ever seen. We had a group of 8 people and everyone was in agreement that the Hip performance was one of the best shows they had attended.
The Landmark management needs to step up and operate like a professional group. Bar staff worked their tail off but was grossly under staffed. Running out of beer before the end of the show may be a good way to control the crowd but leaves a bad taste in many peoples mouth.

The Hip never disappoint. It was phenomenal. Loved it. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 was b/c the seats are so close together, you are really rubbing shoulders with the person next to you. If they are big and smelly, it would be annoying. But the venue is small enough that it really feels like an interactive and initimate show. I've seen them in small pubs in DC, and huge stadiums in Canada, and they were terrific at the Casino. Had a great time. No alcohol in the events center kind of sucks though, but I can understand it, seeing as the seats are so tight.

I have seen a few concerts @ the Landmark Theater in Syracuse and I would definitely recommend the venue for any type of concert, if there is someone there that you would like to see I would say go you won't be disappointed! As for The Tragically Hip, this was my first Hip concert I have only listened to their music via radio and cd's and I have to say that this was the BEST concert that I have ever been to!! They put on a performance that anyone would have enjoyed!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately the new album is reflected in this tour . . . boring . . . flat . . . I see The Hip for their energy . . . ability to rev me up . . . not to see them sitting in a circle having a sing along . . . last year was a 10+ . . . maybe next year they can get back there . . . still the best . . .

I've seen the Hip for years and this was the shortest concert that I have seen them perform. The casinos need to increase the amount of time that they are allowed to play and not worry about having people play the machines to make their money. Otherwise the Hip rocked as usual!

I was concerned that the flu had caused some problems for the HIP recently, but there was no sign of it! The band was so energetic & connected to their fans- who are insane! Everyone was on their feet from beginning to end. Its not just a concert, but an interactive event. Did I mention that the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, NY is one of the most beautiful venues that you will ever see. Best wishes to the HIP for a great European tour.
